My console storage is 17gb when it should be 20gb - im on a ps5. i have the space on my console (over 500gb available)
i cleared my cache
deleted saved data
uninstalled and reinstalled the game

i still only get just under 17gb and im not sure how to make it so i can have the full 20gb allowed. if i do a full reinstall of the game, no mods, and i go to download mods it tells me 17gb. help?

Guys i just got back to playing ark from almost a 4 year break and im extremely washed. I have a small army of megatheriums (original mother is lvl 249 and original father is lvl 257) and i have them both at 65k health and 3k% melee but i keep getting 4k hp and 600% melee babies. Can anyone help?

Wild level
+
Taming effect levels

Mutation levels (if any)

Any other levels added will not add stats to babys but will increase the visual number and get closer to the level cap

Im not sure if this is true or not but i heard that you can breed a good breeding dino you put levels into with a low level dino to bring the levels down im not sure but its a very complicated process

Most of my ark experience has just been messing around near the beach and taming high level parasaurs and trikes. Now that i discovered the whole crap ton of stuff you actually have to do in the game... its pretty overwhelming tbh

The best way to think about stats is in terms of points. You can used an app like Smart Breeder or a website like dododex to tell you how many points something has.
For example a Rex with 15pints in health will have 4400 health. for every point in health added it would get an additional 220 health.
By looking at points in stuff you don't need to worry as much about the actual stat. A Rex with 10 points in health isn't great to breed. A Rex with 50 points in health would be great to breed. Same for all creatures in Ark.

The only thing you can do is raise him flying. You should be able to access his inv to feed him. Also if you need to move him you can whistle and they'll follow, but I couldn't get babies that started flying to land nor cryo them. Once they are adult it goes back to normal.

considering the mobile version is dramatically weaker than the desktop version, that whole system is just scraping the minimum spec for the game. it wont be pretty

Nope. They will drop unfertilized eggs regardless if they are mating or mate boosted or anything. As long as they are females they will lay eggs. Being mate boosted will increase the chance of them laying eggs though.

Thornies and mantis don't spawn naturally, if you're using a mod they could have overridden the spawns but you could also just have bad luck.

i saw a guy talk about using the -preventhibernation launch parameter, it makes it so all the map is rendered, though it reduces performance quite a bit for obvious reasons

yes d3d is directx 3d, device being lost= gpu connection lost, allthough alot time its a driver issue rather than the actual gpu at fault far as i can tell.
might be worth ddu the drivers and install completely fresh
