You should be able to! It should appear as a little clipboard icon, I think, and it should give the option to delete the map's data -- at least, it's like that on the Switch port. I think it should be similar on the Xbox release, from what I remember

Deleting a map's save data won't affect other maps.

Hi guys - Nitrado Server Owner question: I want to allow dino transfer from the Island to Scorched, but every time I try to bring a dino over (even if it's supported on the map), either the eggs disappear from the inventory in the obelisk, or the dinos disappear at server restart if I load them into the obelisk. So.. ive just spent a few hours grinding out materials to build our new place on the Center (ASA).

Decided to build an oil rig style structure in the ocean, built a square foundation on the seabed, then pillared up to above sea level, and now have discovered that i cant place a cieling on top of my pillar support.. very frustrating. From top to bottom of the sea its around 110 pillars, ive been playing for years and have never known that there was a height limit, i can place a cieling so far up, maybe 75 ish pillars.. so theres potentially the oil rig dream over before its even begun.. unless theres a setting i can use to increase this limit?

Nitrado hosted server, is there something i can do about this or am i going to be pulling this back down? 😐👎

that is kind of worrying, it matches a certain possible, common, and serious problem. do you have a 13th or 14th gen intel processor?

there is a widespread problem with them producing corruption due to highly unsafe default settings in the firmware, fake out of memory + random crashes is a common result of it. the processor will eventually die. you can fix it pretty easily if you catch it early, though

If anybody is playing on the Center, be extremely careful of the underwater caves. There is one in particular in the North East section of the map that will auto mesh you and you dino through the cave and onto dry land. One of my players lost his Tuso and all his gear due to the anti mesh system.

I've had to build a massive wall blocking the entrance so no other players can get in 😂 a lot of this map seems unfinished to be honest.

does ASA still have memory leak problems? i've noticed that the longer i play this game the worse my performance gets, and it's always fixed by a restart. just frustrating that every 30-60 mins of gameplay i need to restart the whole game since a lot of the time im busy and end up being stuck at 20fps whilst taming in dangerous areas
after a restart i return to ~60fps but it just slowly decreases over time no matter where i am or what im doing (this includes just walking around my base)
my system is good enough to run this game, especially when most of my settings are on low/medium so it shouldn't be a hardware issue unless theres some random niche conflict with my setup

Hello, I own 2 unofficial modded crossplay servers that are running SE, and Center maps. There has been no issues with any of the PC players, Playstation users, or players on Xbox series X. But i have 3 players who are on Xbox-S and all 3 of them cant play more than a few minutes without getting disconnected. I dont own console im on PC and cant really help them troubleshoot that. Can anyone who has console knowledge bring me to light on something that would cause this type of disconnects this frequent?

when a game is ported for various different systems, yeah, they typically streamline them to play with less goodies so the systems can handle it... but there are limits

okay, you play it on the ipad and then switch that game to the PC... the PC has more and is less cut down and you collect a bunch of stuff, breed up some coloured dinos etc. when you switch back, you're losing a lot of details and will lose stuff to the limits and the dinos won't look so good

Solved: solved my issue with not being able to rejoin my tribe after all of us transfered back from SE to the island. Basically, I had to have someone that wasnt playing on SE rejoin the server and be logged in so that it registered the tribe or something like that. Once they were on and i downloaded my character, I was in the tribe and just had to respawn to get back to a bed.

Does a higher base stat equate to more effective values when tamed? (e.g. a 45 Melee stat vs a 20 Melee stat = higher net total effective melee %?)

I'm looking at how to get high effective damage Dimetrodons and how to gauge their melee% via levelling.

What I understood is higher the stat, more the multiple is. Like having 50 melee means per level you’re getting 50. (This is very basic math as a example)

Whilst a 24 stat melee only gets 24

That’s why when we see a fully mutated Dino their increase of that mutated stat is going up extremes per level

Correct because that 10 difference can mean a lot. After 50 levels that’s a great % you’re missing purely because of that 10 differences in the stat

Hello, I am having issues with the game. I bought it a couple days ago. Day 1 it was slow to load but I managed to get in playing on high-ultra levels. I saved my game (single player) and logged out. Since then, I haven't been able to play at all.

When I try to play single I just get a forever-loading screen that starts to like go-stop like a buffering youtube video from 2007.

When I try to connect to any sort of server, I can get to the character creation screen (after long waits loading) but instead of getting in world, it just keeps timing out.

I reinstalled, am not running mods. I literally just can not play at all at this point. I looked online but none of the stuff there has helped

your ram and CPU deal with processing and rendering, the GPU deals with the graphics such as bloom, chromatic aberration, etc, and the sotrage deals with loading the assets.

if you are getting random crashes and suspect it is hardware related, that is serious, and there are ways to test and fix it before you get a dead CPU

5800x, I think the pump in my aio died, and then the fan cable that went up the tube died while troubleshooting. I restarted my computer and I couldn’t make it into windows without it shutting down, replacing the cooler worked. And I was able to sit in the bios without it going black, and I was able to play ark for 30 mins without even a stutter. Would say it worked

@marble yarrow You'll have to roll back the save on the server. Your character got disassociated with your data. If you are unable to do this due to not being the admin, you'll have to reach out to them to see if they are willing to do that. This is the only fix I know of, as I had the same issue and someone was kind enough to tell me. Hope this helps you!

😭😭 so I'm having some pretty significant issues on my servers it would seem only for me ( the admin/owner) I have a level 87 character, I use gcm obviously to build bases and do the admin thing. This weekend I tried to get some building done ( I'm building a cc on scorched) and all the building materials and anything I spawned wouldt show up in my inventory, but the weight was still there.

In frustration I gave up and returned to the center. I had hoped after restarting the server the issue would have been fixed. It is not. I have traveled between severes, multiple log on/off, server restarts. I'm at a loss on what to do, I cannot do my job as an admin or owner. If I leave the tribe I loose EVERYTHING I have build. I love this game so much. But these bugs are really making it difficult to pay for these servers and trust these developers. Please help.

Is there a way on xbox to mount the pyromane from kitten form on ur shoulder to ride without holding x? I would assume same control as RB and R thumbstick but it defaults melee on RB so I think it's over riding the ride option for the pyromane.
Doesn't seem to be a key binding option for controller

it is in the same wheel as for example tek helmet visor options.. you hold that button down (whatever it is) while its on your shoulder, go onto the pyromane and then select ride.. at least thats how it is on pc for me (by holding R on pc that is)

I am running a genesis 2 server with a few friends, most dinos have about an 8 hour delay on being able to breed again after laying an egg.
We just finished a mission which supposedly reduces that time by 25%, yet for some reason the mating interval is literally 0 now, what is causing this issue and can we fix it?

I'll just drop some pillars 100 ft off into the ocean with a turbine and a cryofridge. Can't use rafts early game. Whales will sink them. Can't use water tames unless you have good ones or those Xi fish will rip your tame from you and shred it. I am playing on genesis 2 rn and wanted to tame my first giga on the map, issue is that I found a good level giga but then I couldn't find it anymore, I did find a lower level in the same place shortly after, eventually I quickly found another in the same area but couldnt find the previous one again.
So do gigas respawn and despawn really quick on genesis 2 or something? normally it takes hours for them to respawn, despawning was never an issue for me on other maps too
