i havent been able to find any threads on this but when playing on schorched earth i can not see any Silica pearls i can harvest them still they just seem to be invisible and also supply drops dont show their beam of light making them hard to find. no one else im playing with seems to have this issue, any one know what might be causing this and how to fix. only difference i can really see is i am using an AMD graphics card as oposed to those im playing with

The supply drop light comes from your graphical settings. You'll have to increase one of the graphical settings (its in the top left, I cant remember the name and my game is updating... maybe world lighting...) up to med to get supply drop beams. I do not know about the silica pearls problem, however.

So, this is a steam issue not an ark issue. I literally cannot install the update. It takes about an hour to patch, then when it gets to the installing phase, it sits at 1%/2GB out of 105GB. And then nothing. I have cleared the download cache literally like four times without any change. I’ve also tried changing my download region and swapping my network from normal to 5G. I’ve also tried restarting my damn PC. 🙃 Would love to play the game

bit late to reply but i had this issue last night, i cleared the download cache for steam and some steamworks distributables started appearing on restart and so i paused the ark install, installed those, cleared the download cache again and then the Ark dl and install worked after that. SSD hd had 215 gb free space and waiting for the 1%/2Gb to magically finish didnt work.

Gigantoraptor’s spawns are set to the Jungle/Forest. Scorched has no jungle or forest, just desert, more desert, oasis, caves, and more endless desert. Most dino addon mods choose a difficulty zone rather than a biome, which is why they will work on Scorched, but Gigantoraptor just built diff sadly. (I also want big fluffy egg bird on Scorched 😔)

is super resolution off? make sure in the RTX settings its set to "max performance" super resolution will crack open a 3070 like an egg. and in max fps make sure to enter a value like "120" or else it will force it to 60 (further fps lowers are calculated AFTER that, resulting in a 20 fps reduction usually)

Adobe gives the best protection from heat. Wood, stone, metal all insulate against the cold. It doesn’t really matter where you stand as the temperature doesn’t change, just the hypo and hyperthermic insulation you receive (you can see it in your inventory). If you’ve built from adobe and are still too hot, try placing some air conditioners down and wearing desert gear

You are only supposed to have 1 in each clan. You are a clan yourself. So you should not be able to have 2 oasisaurs. So it deletes one to compensate it.

Oasisaurs brakes any game that upload or cryopot them. As they are part dino AND structure. And structures can not be uploaded or cryopotted so game react with a wtf behavior. For unofficial it crashes everyone in the server if you try to cryopot one.

Oasisaur needs a lot of fixes. My character starts to fly above the ground on its back. And i can not alwayse get into the resources tab. When force tamed the timer starts on a 24h in real live cooldown that is super stupid. So i have to wait a day before i can revive my favorite dino’s….

Oasisaur is not jet supposed to be uploaded i guess, or they did not test it out. XD. As the game does not know what to do with it as its both dino and structure at the same time. So it does weird things with it. You sure you left some potted plants in its backpack?

A dino with a platform saddle brakes all structures on platform when dino is uploaded or cryopotted. But oasisaurs resourses are seen as structures. It tries to brake them but the game cant so it kills the oasisaur or creates a broken dino and make it disapear, because dino is not 100% correct anymore.

I say make a bug report on it that the dino disappears after downloading and a server restart.

on the unofficial server i play, the rule of thumb is that we do not drop unwanted wyvern eggs. we eat them or cook them, because we don’t want to ruin the spawns.

i signed on just a few minutes ago and headed to the wyvern trench to collect some eggs. on my way i found a dropped egg, and went to pick it up. but it says it was dropped by me. that’s not impossible, as i hadn’t collected any at all to even accidentally drop.

I'm having the same problem. The oasisaur we captured has also been buggy and desyncs from time to time. Also we just straight up lag or fall through it. I'm wondering if it's just cause of the one I have that is causing the reincarnate icon to not be usable..?

If it needs element to function, as there is currently no legit way to get element on Scorched, I don't want to waste time transferring back over to make one

I transferred off scorched smalls because of an inventory bug, transferring to island fixed it, I transferred back to my scorched server, said three items wouldn’t allow me to spawn, then I tried transferring back to island
