I was only slightly able to fix the Dino colors in caves by using “r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 2” console command. It seems it only fixed the underneath of Dino’s but not the middle:top. Any one have tips?

Hey so I got a dedicated server trough Steamcmd and I tested it and it’s working fine did the Port Forwarding and it worked but I would like to copy my SP settings into my server and my World Save.

then go through, shootergame/saved/savedarkslocal/TheIsland_WP

copy all the files from in there to , this location on your server ,
shootergame/saved/savedarks

TheIsland_WP.ark =the current world save

.arkprofile=the player data that joined your non-dedicated (will have load letters an numbers in front[this is the eos id for that player]
localplayer.arkprofile=your player data from the non-dedicated,this will probably need changing from localplayer to your eos id number

if you used any mods, u will need to load them on the server first to avoid issues
if y had custom settings you will need to copy over the game.ini and the gameusersetting.ini

Nope! Just some tranqs, the armor my character had, 2 spare cryopods, an ascendant crossbow, and an ascendant sword.

New information about not having clouds... It is night time and raining. The haze is gone, but still have no clouds. When I disable them, there is absolutely no difference in what the sky looks like. The only difference is that it tanks my FPS, whith nothing visual to see.

Sharing some information others may find helpful. I started getting reports from players not being able to set down some mod structures, specifically egg collector from the Egg Collector mod and the Imbue station from the Imbue Station mod. At first it was just the egg collector that the issue was reported to me so I thought that it was a mod issue and was going to remove the mod from server until the report on the imbue station came up. I started my test server set up exactley like my live serve and confirmed it had the same issue with not letting me place down the structures. I then went and removed the Winter Wonderland mod and all was fixed. Conclusion the Winter Wonder Land mod was causing issues with other mods even with -passivemod in command line.

usually a ripoff at best, often a scam. it is software interference or a driver issue, almost certainly. it technically could be a hardware problem causing a driver fault, but that wont be reliable

get someone who knows more than fuckall about PCs (ie, not the typical PC shop or gamer) to prod it. there wont be any particularly helpful logfiles in a case like this

if there is a third party antivirus, start by obliterating it - which can be difficult, most of them resist removal as strongly as any other kind of malware, which most of them functionally are. all they do is reduce performance and stability, in a home system. no security benefit, but they will produce a lot of false positives to keep people afraid and paying

it probably cant hurt to do a completely clean graphics driver install via DDU, either, but whoever looked at it previously hopefully did that, if they were not completely incompetent

When you normally transfer a “titan” from one server to the other it takes 15 minutes to download and be usable, and in those 15 minutes it can take damage - that was designed to nerf them a bit in PvP.
Normally you can’t cryo them, I guess that cryoing them makes them act as if you had uploaded them and now you were downloading them
You’re gonna have to wait 15 minutes to ride it

No problem, it's a strat that been used for very long time. I did it back on ase island years ago. 19 theris with one yuty, dragon tries to target the yuty above the theris. Their size and speed allows them to get a good surround on him and they have veggie cakes which they will auto eat to heal when they need them. You just have to make sure your command whistles are decent and keep them buffed with yuty roar.

Okay so when adding colors mutations during a mutation stack, do I only take the color mutations from dinos with the stats im stacking? (in this case its health and melee)

"Color mutations" aren't a thing. Every mutation will change a color region, increase a stat by two, and increase the mutation count by 1. All three of these happen, but there are instances where it might change a color region the creature doesn't have (making it invisible)

You're logging out of the game in between changes right? And also it still has to be supported by foundations/vertical pillars within reach

You can either breed for colours or stats, but not really both at the same time. If you are just after putting colour regions together then it doesn't matter what stat was mutated. The colour change and the stat mutation aren't tied together, you just get that colour region change when you get a stat mutation.

Crystal Isles is very notorious for its broken spawns... In some areas you'll find tons of dinos clustered together and some other areas will be pretty much empty. That's just the way the map is sadly

If you mean renting a server from Nitrado via the server browser, you don't have to buy another copy of the game, you have to pay them a monthly fee to host it.

Yeah ceilings that branch off the side have more support than the structures that are built on them, so you may need to bring the gate half a foundation closer to the center of the raft

i do it via dino tamed, that way can just add what need, i guess you cud do it wild too just this is what i found easiest

in game.ini

[7] is the attribute to change so here 7 = weight
=1 is the default , so if you changed that to say 10 then its 10x the default weight added each point you put into it
you will need to adjust that depending how high you have stacking

Prefered fix ,disablemenutransitions , turn on , disable hlod, turn on

that command is also good if you go inside your self hopping off dinos
if all above failes, try disable foilage an fluid interaction (bad side effect you get lil floaty rocks in places 😦 ) but i guess better than crashing

affinity is the amount gained on imprinted dinos , but its a multiplier on top of the the per level,
the add is same for weight as its still the default 1 as std , so makes no differnce in the weight stat so u cud use either or i suppose

this will make each level of engrams unlock at each level reached, downside is it will unlock all tek items at lvl 100
you wont have beat the bosses to unlock

to do it properly you need a lot more lines code for each level

I've sorta deduced the cause of the door lag (and crash) issue. If you have torches (wall or standing) near your doors when you go to open/close them, the whole game lags out. Not sure exactly why its happening, but that it definitely part of the problem. So if you're crashing from it at all, i'd try to refrain from using Torches for now

2: roughly 50% chance that the baby retains mutations, as it always gets either the dads mut or the moms mut

Yeah...I'm aware of passivemods. It worked for getting rid of Raptor Clause and the ability to craft more holiday items, but I still have reindeer, Santa's Big Helpers, and abominable snowmen.

That sounds like a bug, unless they left it so you could still craft the items if needed. You can file a #bug-reports .

It's possible that they are just dinos which were spawned before you deactivated the mod and are just still there. They should eventually disappear, or you can do a dino wipe
