There is a limit on the amount of stored waypoints you can have, I believe death pings fall into this category. So, clearing up other waypoints might help your new ones to show in the future.

If you do have honey, it's worth taking some along in case something does attack your raft. Can throw that in the water to distract things like Leeds, giving you time to get away.

The only Vanilla sea creatures that should attack a raft are Leeds, you can typically hug the coast close enough to avoid them. You could take out a trial raft with a dodo on it, find some of your modded creatures and test if they attack or not. I suspect they won't, but worth testing and knowing.

The poi should be white to track. If you have a lot of things tracking that may cause an issue. Inventory dino foot print and make sure the GPS pointer (poi) is white on the dino you're looking for.

Yea, you can turn off the clouds with r.volumetricCloud 0 and it will take most of that blurryness away or that’s what it did for me, you can also do r.volumetricFog 0 and it improves a lot

Everything I do resets mine. If I restart game and sometimes I can click on one I want to change and it just won’t do anything and other times I can change it but as soon as I move the mouse it resets it before I can even save it hopefully there’s a fix coming or a workaround

Yes, but be careful as you follow these (Going too far and through the actual mesh can result in you being killed, leave anything you don't need in storage), it will need to be a saddled or carryable tame.

You want to use Fly, then Ghost, be careful as you go into the cliff. Either pickup the tame and leave the cliff, or, ride the creature and repeat entering the commands of Fly, then Ghost, fly your creature out. Once out, you need to use the Walk command whilst riding your tame, but be careful as you dismount, you'll need to very quickly do the Walk command again.

I recommend getting used to opening the console and pressing the Up arrow to quickly select prior commands.

I'm not sure what is causing your issues, sorry. All I can say is that we have the same specs, yet I'm using a higher and more demanding resolution, with higher settings and getting much better performance, so there is definitely something going wrong for you. Yah I know just letting u know about fake information out there and there is tons. I was trying to find a cave a week back and this dude gave cords for all caves. So I show up to some tricky ones to find and they all WAY OFF and it turns out he was giving ase cords and a lot of his content was just ase labeled with asa.

If you have, take a ss of your keybinds and reset to default settings, it sounds like the problem is isolated to the whistle, so even if it still says T, then it might be a gratifical bug.

There were reports about this on the Steam Discussion boards, people have said that teleporting between beds, or dying, works as a temporary fix for your character. They offer no solutions for creatures though, I guess it's possible that a teleporter might fix them temporarily too, if you're that far along with tek.

Hi, I set my server up completely fine, it runs, friends can join, and my PC can run the game and the server at the same time, but for some reason I just cannot get mods to work on the server. Every time I add -mods=<ModID> to the command line in the start up bat file the server crashes. I checked the crash log and it says "Requested mods failed to load on server". I much prefer a Mammoth, it has 75% weight reduction compared to the beaver's 50%. It also has much better visibility over the fallen trees in ASA. The wood harvest also doesn't gather berries, which saves a bunch of micro management.

I don't really have much experience with that, I'm using a Pela as it doesn't require me putting points into melee, or needing to get off my mount. Downside is that the Pela is only particularly good when harvesting babies, though does get a little from everything and will autoharvest as it kills. It's a fun mount too, being a flier that can land on water and be used for fishing. I think both are viable, depending on your playstyle, but you can probably min/max the best with a sword.

Early game I tend to just use a hatchet, but securing either a Mammoth or a Beaver as soon as possible, along with a Doedic and Anky, is kind of early game plans for me

I think the easiest place to get an early Mammoth is around 20 Lat, 60 Long. There's usually some Mammoths down out of the snow, so you can easily kite one and tame it up without having to worry about the freezing cold

North east, right as the snow starts travelling East to West along the North Coast. If you wanted early tames, you could grab an Anky at Herbivore, sail up the East Coast, look for a Doedic along the coast right before the river mouth across from Carno Island, then sail on around the North East corner of the island to head to get the Mammoth.

I put a few pillars down for estimates of how much room I have. Then left the server. I woke up the next day to find out that he pillared the rest of the way around me blocking what room I had left so I couldn't even begin. It kept on saying I was against enemies foundation or gate. Do you have a mouse you can use with the PS5? Plugging that in and disconnecting the controller should sort things -- there's a glitch with the controller UI on all platforms that can mess with the ability to do imprints. Using a mouse is the fast workaround until it's solved.

I have a real issue. I mean a real big issue. I created a new player because I didn't like the way the old one looked. But when I spawned in the game I at least expected to be in my old tribe where I'm the only survivor. Now I'm in risk of losing everything. Can someone help!

So apparently any ocean alpha can push you against the map barrier and its insta death an everything is unretrievable. Also anyone else had issues with griffins and the map ceiling barrier insta killing you when colliding

For all the automated stuff etc, AA is your best friend. Works better than most of the other similar mods and has some pretty cool stuff in it

So turns out there IS a mod to extend range, tried it and it works perfectly

AA adds a bunch of stuff i dont want and the pull mod i have is taken straight outta s+ so its easier to use ao i wanted to keep that one

Yeah the mod works similarly to the water system. Basically you craft a relay that extends the generator range like water reservoirs

You do not use cables in ASA. Generators are ranged use now.

You can pickup and replace the fabricator for the bug, and report it via #bug-reports.

No worries, this also applies to water intakes. They are ranged, and you can use reservoirs to increase the range, and place water taps/crop plots within those circles and they'll be irrigated.

I play a single player server on the ps5 and I went to tame a lvl 140 giga. I trapped it on an ice sheet and fed it mutton and it was going well, until I flew away to use a mammoth to get narcos. When I came back the giga had glitched through the map and sunk to the bottom of the where it drowned. I tried using a horse but nothing worked, so I had to force tame it and use the ghost command to even get it out of the mesh. I still had dozens of mutton left on the giga and it was a guaranteed tame anyways, but I was wondering if I should keep it or kill it? It didn’t gain any levels it wouldn’t have because I use 2.5 taming, so what should I do?

That trap isnt reusable though

The rhyno doesnt go back into that trap this is why its not considered reusable because of this. However if you put dino with the pheramone around the trap you can get multiple use out of the bug but not the trap

That beloved old bug, actually an issue with other UE games too, I'm guessing it's just the default position when the code loses track of where something should be. Was there from the start of ASE and took a few years for most the issues with it to be ironed out. I don't see anything about it in the upcoming patch notes for tomorrow.

The only particularly 'safe' place on The Island is Herbivore Island in the South East of the map. What you describe isn't particularly abnormal, you must be somewhat near to the swamp if you're seeing snakes.

From what I gather, when you have a creature knocked out, by using the calming puff near it, it will drain the creatures stamina. Recharging that stamina will then drain that creatures food rapidly. Never tried it myself though.
