Hey, does anyone know how I can run a dedicated server on my Xbox and play on that server on Windows? I've been trying for a while but the server I set up on Xbox never appears on my Windows server list. A few of my friends have been able to join the server though.

depending on your game setting iron wont respawn near anything u build and it takes a at least a few days in game for them to respawn

resource nodes on singleplayer sometimes get removed if you log off when they aren't respawned yet.
best to lower the interval so they respawn faster and it happens less.

In general, wind is weird.

However the 45% means that of the "24 hour in game day cycle" it will produce wind 45% of the time, and not always in one "chunk" so in short - you wont have power 55% of the day

lol, yeah on steam PVE I lost so many dinos to gen2 crashing especially while in missions

when it came back up a lot of times your inventory would be wiped and you'd be out of your tribe, would have to transfer out then back in to rejoin your tribe

sometimes even that wouldn't put you back in your tribe and you'd have to pray to god that you have a tribemate on that specific map if you had a base there

They r actually pretty easy solo u just need the proper tool or dinos for example if u wanna do the mission with corrupted giga take a reaper in there bury the reaper and tek punch to one of the edges of the mission and stay on high ground use a tek phase pistole giga will agro on reaper which cant take dmg cause its in the ground and u simply kill the giga for knock out mission consume rare flower and agro meaving or paracer to you and tek bow them if u youtube it u will get the idea to do the missions

bring a few of them from different caves to an obelisk, the 3 big towers across the map, and you may be able to activate a portal to confront the guardian of the ark

each obelisk will tell you which artifacts are needed, but not from which caves nor where those caves are

Because they have not been picked up in 7 days and have spoiled. They'll sit there, spoiled, until someone grabs them, and then they'll spoil in the inventory.

Test it by grabbing all current eggs, and waiting for new spawns.

Hey I just got on extinction for the first time and I wanna acquire some cryopods. I heard supply drops are one of the ways to get it. I remember hearing a supply drop falling on my first hour playing but never paid attention on where it dropped. I've been scouring around the wasteland but I can't seem to find it. Whenever I play on officials (yes I know they are gone now) and unofficials I usually have a texture issue. Textures just don't pop in like they are supposed to. Game looks washy. But if I play on single player it's fine. Anyone know a fix for this? Been happening for years. I upgraded my HDD to an SSD and that seemed to fix it for a while but now the issue is back.

I found all my save files, they were in another drive with more storage. I've replaced the Lost Island files with the new save and it still WILL NOT load the server save!!! It keeps taking me to character creation, I'll create a new character and the map IS NOT the server save, just a fresh Lost Island map. I don't understand! What else am I missing? Can someone who knows how to do this properly include screenshots of your process?

The commands don't do anything because there's nothing to take or claim. I just tried it and the game is still an unplayed fresh map

Use these to do caves, look for high lvl theris in meantime

I've been playing on the island for a couple months now, and I haven't seen a single giga. I know they can be a pain to find, but after searching the entire map dozens of times and using the destroywilddinos command a few times as well, I downloaded a mod to search for them to make sure they actually were spawning. The mod says that there are no gigas on the map though, and it seems to have been working correctly with all other types of dinos, so I'm pretty confident there just aren't any gigas on the map.

Carchars are spawning (There have been up to four at once), and from what I can tell, gigas are the only type of creature that haven't been spawning in. Anyone know what might be causing this?

I was watching Pterafier on youtube and in his video titled "Best Singleplayer/Server Settings", he says that using the slider in the main menu to change the max level of wild dino spawns is useless and instead recommends using the overrideofficaldifficulty='x' admin command followed up by destroywilddinos. Just wanted to check before doing it that the overrideofficialdifficulty command is indeed better and that its only changing the max level of wild dino spawns and nothing else.

Imprinting only helps if you actually plan to use it, imprint gives it a little more stats with a little added buff for the person who Imprinted whatever Dino it is, breeders are suggested not to inprint so you can accurately choose the mutations but with a mod that tells them, if it works well enough, it won't matter

The whole breeding system might change with the release of ASA though, because instead of a wild stat multiplier it's changing to some more Dino specific breeding I guess

If you are pve, just turn on friendly fire and you can kill them. Dinos can't kill each other so use a sword or shotgun.

Can anyone help with double character on a server issue?
So I have 2 nitrado servers. I had trouble with my newest one when I tried to transfer my character to it (non cluster). It didnt transfer but rather wanted me to create a new character. I couldn't get it to work so I just created a new character for that server. I since clustered my servers and tried to trncfer to that server again. As expected I got the message saying I had a character on the map and do I want to overwrite it. I did but now there are 2 of me at dif levels. Every time I log in it tries to log me in onto that server even though I logged out on my other server. Each time it behaves like I'm a new character. I can get rid of my other character which I Beleive is causing the issue.
How to get rid of that old character now?

Im looking for a way of making dinos spawn in halloween colours without an actuall halloween event since its unstable, I heard there is a way of configurating PAX event to spawn dinos with specific colors but I cannot really find any additional info about that, Is that even possible ?

Trying to tame a giga. Dododex says it’ll take about 77 arrows. Should it be about that or will it be much more because of the giga high torpor drain

when it drops, let the torpor drain until about 1/3rd left, then pump two stacks of narcos into it

as long as the torpor is rising, it doesn't drop, so it's better to leave it rising from midway than continually topping it off

Hey I was doing some OSD missions with my boosted thyla army. I wanted to try putting a dino leash in the middle to try so I can whistle them to go aggressive and not wander too far. However, their speed seems to be suddenly affected and they're now slow with the leash activated. Kind of similar to when their weight is nearly full. Is this suppose to happen or is there a way to bypass this?
