Read these already, and I think I understand the mechanics but still the process is a little confusing. Say the female is 10 health 10 melee and the male is 40 health 40 melee, and the child is a mutated male with 42 health but 10 melee, what do I do in that scenario? Since the females are unmutated they will have their base stats which are considerably lower than my mutated rexes

What I would do, is look around for good spots, and just make small outposts. If you find a spot you like, expand on it. Those outposts are great for if you need a saddle, supplies, or have to store some Dino’s

The lake in the redwoods, cliffs by the blue obelisk, volcano pathway, and the valleys around the black sands are all great places for one

Hi, I have a question about mutating.
Lets say for example I have 10 female rexes with 10 melee, 10 hp and a male with 40 melee, 40 hp.
The mutation I'd want is a MALE with either 42 melee 40 hp or 40 melee 42 hp.
If I get this male I raise it and replace the original male which I've done twice.
Now my question is what do I do if I get these 2 different things:

1. A female with 42 melee 40 hp
2. A male with 42 melee 10 hp
   Do I just discard these babies and only get the male with a melee/hp mutation AND the correct other stat?
   Cause that male needs to get both of its fathers stats (~1/4 chance) AND a mutation (7.31/100) AND it must be on HP/Melee (2/7 chance) AND it must be a male (1/2 chance) which means it's a ~1/383 chance to get a replacement male which is a pretty low odd, and I get mutating is long but Im just worried im doing it wrong and there's a way to get better odds by handling the 2 situations differently

Im getting the connection timeout error wehenever I try to join official servers.

I have tried everything. European VPN, usa vpn, resetting router, checking firewall, literally everything. I have verified gamefile integrity thrice. Also tried loading the same map in singleplayer first. And tried clearing steam download cache, as well as setting the server browser ping rate to Automatic(5000). It has been happening for weeks. I have also tried DNS 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and flushing dns cache

but whenever i click join it always says "Joining server __" for like 1 minute and then says timeout. Either that or it goes to loading screen, says "Loading PrimalGameData..." and then kicks me back to server brwoser after 10 secs

this shit is so annoying I cant even play the game. I have managed to join a server only 3 times out of the like 50 ive tried

Yeah. So the best idea for breeding is to breed out a male and female with perfect stats (the same exact stats across the board) and get as many females as you think you can manage with the baby production. Then every time you get a mutation on a male that you want, replace ONLY the male. This will ensure that your random mutations on the mat and pat side never cap at 20/20. So long as you have one side with no mutations, you’ll be able to mutate up to 255 points into a single stat. If you get to 255, you won’t be able to level the creature, so it’s best to do 254 or lower

No, you will need to continue to breed your mutated male to your clean females (don’t ever breed mutated females to mutated males unless it’s for color combining, which I suggest doing entirely separate from stats) your females will always have your base stats. When you get to the amount of points into stats that you want, then you choose a mutated female and mutated male and breed those to create multiple copies of those stats in mate boosted pairs

Fjordurs bosses are not the same as The Island. The map has unique bosses now such as Bela (think that’s how that’s spelt), Hati and Skul, and Steinbjorn as the world bosses, then you have Fenrisulfar as the final boss

on most maps rexes spawn in a lot of places, so they're easier to find and at higher levels

theriz are a bit on the rarer side so you won't find as many at high level

whenever i load into the game, a very long line appears on my screen and i can't get rid of it. my graphics are all the way up, and i have it optimized with geforce. i've restarted my game numerous times and i have uninstalled and reinstalled my game. i do play with mods, but i've tried on both a vanilla public server and i took off my mods for a singleplayer save. any fixes-?
additionally, my t and o buttons for transfering and dropping things from my inventory don't work, and i can't seem to fix that. i rekeybound my drop button to something else, but my transfer (t) keybind can't be changed and still isn't working

You can try to move the key bonds of the inventory or map or other bonds which are on the far right and try to move them as close possible to WASD such as zxcv so that it's not a hassle trying to reach

Just validated, unsubbed to the mods in steam and deleted them in the Ini folder, Unistalled and reinstalled the game and validated a second time. Then played the game and it crased with in 30 sec

@royal citrus Spinos spawn at almost every river on the island. If you lose taming effectiveness don't feed it and let the creature wake up and tranq it again, it will reset the taming effectiveness and keep the hunger it had

@royal citrus it's a good practice to not feed the creature until its hunger enough to eat all the require food in a few seconds , that way of you happen to lose taming effectiveness you don't waste time waiting to be hunger again
