Offset needs to be left alone at 1.0

OverrideOfficialDifficulty is what you change for higher max level. It will not change how many high levels you see if you are on any of the first four story maps (the Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, and Extinction), it will only change the max possible level you can find.

i found a steam post online which perfectly describes my situation so i will paste it here

Me and my friend just completed scorched earth and were moving to aberration( we planned on beating all story maps). I go into aberration on singleplayer before he gets on and the lighting is perfectly fine, however, when I host non dedicated without him even being in the game everything is dark. Not black screen, but parts of the map where there are shadows or generally dark lighting are just pitch black. the portal room alone just looks creepy. Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are lots of ways to keep people out. There is passwords and whitelisting. They all work the same on nondedicated and on private servers. The difference is the nondedicated uses the single player mechanics for running the server (with all the sp bugs) and a private server runs the same as a normal server (generally way more smooth for a gameplay experience)

I have a carcharo, no giga, but i cannot take either inside. I have tried using cryopods at several spots including the cliff before the ice zone it does not work. I backed up my save and gave it a test run, I did not need either, a single imprinted rex was enough to clear the cave

Yea, the trick is to not attack with the conga line. They get bunched up and it's hard to get them back to following correctly. Stop the group and either kill stuff or lure it into lava then go back for the line. If you have a sino it's pretty easy to lure the dangerous stuff into the lava so it's out of the way.

if you have access to aberration, get a reaper king and swing the dinos in the lava

Yeah i cleared it on one mount and went back for the rest. The rexes still seemed intent on getting a lava bath :/ I can lure mobs into lava just fine with ranged weapons thats not an issue
