then to fix the tribe getting deleted i made a new tribe, went to an unclaimed dino and did admincheat takealldino

That’s a server setting. If you play PvP it’s automatically enabled. If you play PvE the server setting “allow flyer carry” has to be enabled.

Yeah the "cooking pot" events are official "old" events.

Christmas was the last official old styled event.

Private servers can still activate some of these events, as bits and bob's of code still remains. However most are wildly removed and all the cooking pot items can now be bought in the hlna store with hexagons.

Now we can activate "Evo events" in place of the old ones which just set custom colors to spawn on dinos

There are usually beehives in the cliffs all along the southern coast

So beehives often spawn after a fresh server wipe and then seem to decay or die over time. You can often only find them about 1-2 in game days after a dino wipe and they will stay for... Maybe about a week before they begin to disappear. Best suggestion I'd have is do a dino wipe, wait a in game day or two, then search again

Ab is also difficult to play on (or more difficult than SE actually) but its more difficult in a rather fun way

Yep the visual aspect of Ab is another big selling point imo as well actually.

Yes for sure, and true custom/free dlc maps don’t have explorer notes, those are only on official/paid dlc maps.
I really liked Ab for the change of pace, especially on pve the game gets super easy super quickly, but on Ab it lasts longer.
And also the map design is awesome, so much verticality and multiple levels n stuff, really mixes up the way Ark feels on the island, or on the free dlc ones!

So, I read back and saw someone else was having an issue with 'timed out' on Extinction. "ME TOO" I am able to play on all my offucial maps (lost, fjord, gen1 & gen2, ab) but I cannot log onto my Extinction. It's been like this for a few days. I've tried verifying, uninstalled and installed the map, updating graphics. Had a friend join Map and tried to to join friends game. I shut down and restarted. I understand the router idea, but I'm not in controll of that and why would all the other maps play fine if it's the router? But I am afraid of my stuff decaying since I cannot join 😦

just have a quick question, took a look at some videos. i would need around 15 diplos to have like 100k hp to get the carcha tamed as effectively as possible. This means breeding diplos. My question is when you breed dinos, do they also need to gain experience from killing things (like alphas)? Because in these videos im watching, they have like 90 points available to spam HP with, but im not sure if thats normal or if they just cheated the diplos in at max level

no so basically what i need now is like 15 diplos (doesnt matter if they are baby or adult, but im assuming u cant get 100k hp as a baby) with 100k hp. in the videos, they do this with like level 200+ diplos and they already have their points available in their menu. So what they do is they spam HP (so that the diplo has 100k max hp but like 9k current HP) and cryo it so its unconscious or something and let the carcha kill it

they say they bred them, but what im asking is like for example, the second a baby grows into an adult, does it unlock all its level points or something?

Eh. Bit subjective. I believe it's essentially 70. Or unlimited. However you will be limited by your console preformance and internet. If your using a Xbox one with just standard DSL you can probably host for about 3-6 people depending

I'm not quite sure how to go about using public as we had already had 3 randomers join on 10th this month. 1 was a splitscreener and other was on their own etc. I'm not 100% new but the other 2 I'm with are new so a bad experience for the first game wasn't ideal hence why we wanted to do private. Our internet is okay though i think it's the other Xbox with internet issues though I could try mine to join to test that theory I don't have Xbox live atm so would need to borrow someone else's account in my family(they wouldn't mind anyways)

I can’t play a bunch of servers on Ark PlayStation because every time I join a server with an unknown setting I lag out instantly. I’ve sent multiple reports in for it to WC but they haven’t done ****. I’ve rebuilt my database, factory reset, deleted the game, but it still isn’t fixed. The only thing I haven’t done is delete ark that is shared across multiple accounts all together, but that would mean I’d have to rebuy everything in this expensive game. It happens on any device on any account that has the ark that I bought digitally as long as it’s SONY. Meaning it is a Ark problem, not mine.

Anyone have any other ideas of what I could do because clearly WildCard doesn’t give a crap about the reports I’ve sent in.

how do you heal dinos quickly, i've tried snow owl and daeodon's healing effect but they both are extremely slow

what i understand is,
DinoTamed[0] : used when leveling a stat on a tamed dino
DinoTamed_Add[0] : stat added per level increased when tamed (the bonus level upon taming)
DinoTamed_Affinity[0] :

do this one used along with DinoTamed[0] when leveling up a dino?
like increasing a stat of a tamed dino with max imprinting would be DinoTamed[0] + DinoTamed_Affinity[0] per level?

affinity isnt related to imprinting its releated to your taming efficency which is explained here https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Taming#Taming_Effectiveness

Decided to load in prim+ and noticed that all the servers are the same. If I make a character on prim+ does it override my character on survival evolved since both game modes seem to use the same servers?

I logged out of my Gen 2 server earlier today in a tek bed and now when i go to log back into that server my character is not there and it does not even show any of my beds. My character is not in the download tab either. Any ideas?

Right so Im trying breeding for the first time and I know you kinda can have to stop at 20 muts on each side. But if I have 2 dinos both with maxed muts on different stats could they produce offspring with both of their stats? eg 1 dino with mutations stacked into health and dmg, another with stam and weight. Would they produce a offspring with all 4 maxed stats?

I did about 30-40 mins before and have checked that other server. character does not show in download tab there either. whats strange is that on my gen 2 server, it does not prompt me to create a new character but does give me the option to randomly spawn somewhere although it does not show my beds.

With the updates recently some servers have experienced some minor rollbacks. Double check your history tab or select my survivors from the steam sorting options, as from there your only option is going to be #customer-support
