Yea all vanilla (non crystal wyverns), magmasaur spit and I believe basilisk too can hurt and kill your own Dinos in both modes.
Magmasaurs can even destroy your own structures so be careful what u click near your home ^^

they are a tame that when given resources they can turn them into other resources. they have a set pool of items they can create (a pool for each gacha that is taken from the bigger pool of all possible gacha stuff) iirc they are an extinction dino so prob on there maybe in the city/around it (never played on it sorry)

doesnt matter if you know them or not you can do it either way. my rule of thumb is SP or official and only unofficial if you have checked the server out (found it on discord/online) and the mods it has. otherwise you can end up with hours of download time depending on the mods, you can end up with no space left when downloading them, or realize you dont want to go to that server

easiest way to get one is to load into abberation for the free bulb dog. otherwise they are mostly event items. you may be able to get a cool one with the upcoming fear evolved event

once you have one and equip it - and kill an alpha dino it gains xp, once it gets maxed on do your character gains 5 levels while you have it equipped

people normally breed until they get 2 identical dinos with max stats from the original tames and then breed those for mutations, since all new dinos will have the best stats

I use dino storage v2 and they just lose stats for no reason and are a much lower level

That’s because they have a matched pair. When you breed, the baby inherits either the mother or fathers base points in a stat. So if you have a female with 32 melee and a male with 45 the offsprings melee is either gonna be 32 or 45. This happens with each individual stat.

just build the trap higher/further away the karkinos taming is one of my favorites and sooo easy

remember to hit only head and body and use a magnify glass to look at its torpor if u wanna be sure. You can kill dinos and drag their bodies to it to make it gain hp aswell

my solution would be have an S+ crafting station/anything else next to a big area with tons of trees. offload your stone there and continuously gather the wood there and make all the structures you need then transport them to ur base spot

It’s comparable to the other stuff (wood n stone) so if you plan on building big, and you already got a Doedic thatch can be limiting. Especially if you only tamed like a very restricted beaver instead of a mammoth

yeah mammoths are better than beavers but are harder to tame if you have slightly boosted rates in my experience

id recommend an exploring mount, such as a thyla or direbear

you can tame rexes with relative ease on a good thyla

get some imprinted dinos with good stats

on ragnarok a griffin is very useful

you can also use a griffin to steal wyvern eggs and get a wyvern

though if you dont have boosted rates you need wyvern milk for that
