for pve they pretty useless imo, for pvp they are pretty worth

general use, not much. poison ball bypasses armour which makes them one of, if not, the best dino for genesis part 1 alpha hunts. they dish out torpor pretty amazingly which makes them on par with equus for tranqing, compromises speed for safety. they have an insane weight stat so thats good and a weight reduction on stone which makes them good to carry stone when farming metal/obsidian or whatever.

what i do is get a high weight magmasaur and basilisk. might be too long of a trip but the former carries metal and the latter carries stone. if the trip is too long, karkinos with ankies for metal weight reduction and jump.

there is no need to smelt the metal with the magmasaur, not only is industrial forge faster but if an argy is carrying an anky with metal, it can hold more than 3x more raw metal than metal ingots (45.0 weight for 300 metal ore in an anky, 150.0 weight for 300 metal ingots in an argys inventory)

I found my high level character and it is sleeping. When the second player logs on, I lost control of the new player and am forced to respawn, but respawning simply removes control of the new character from 2nd player and gives it to me.

I am no longer in my tribe but have the same character it happened to my tribe mate as well. We have 1 more tribe member that was sleeping but do not know their status. so, i am breeding rex's for mutations, and i had one male with an attack mutation breed with a bunch of other female rex's that didnt have its mutation, so i could get a group of perfect females with its attack stat, so the male was lvl 243 and the females were 241, while i was breeding i got a male rex with a attack mutation, the problem is that this new rex not only was 4 levels higher then the 243 male with 1 mutation, but it also had 3 mutation slots taken up, one on the mother's side for some reason, even though there were no mutations from the mother's side

and im confused as to why and what happened for that to happen, the male only had 1 mutation, it was attack, this new one got one more mutation in attack, but it took up 2 extra mutation slots and 4 levels higher, while the original 243 male only had 1 mutation slot and no other females had any

Some resources can be a little more finicky with respawning in sp, or at least inconsistent. My solution has been to go very far away and go afk (with infinitestats on to avoid death while afk) @scarlet pelican
Edit: oh, also, just in case you weren't aware, a chainsaw works great on those rocks.

arkpoc wipes every 30 days, its pvp and has 3x rates. then you have conquest/classic pvp which wipes every 3 months or so and is 3x rates

Question about mutations I started mutating my wyverns. I was using one line method. I chose Attack as it was first mutation I got. So I have 6 females (base) and 1 male (currently 1/20 in male line). I just breed a female with 2 mutations (1 is male side and 1 is female side) and it got attack as well. Will it break my line if I continue with this or should I just look for 2/20 male line instead of two 1/20?

They're pretty quick flyers so make for good travel mounts that'll take out pretty much anything on the map. Decent weight and can carry stuff so you can take them for metal runs with an anky etc. I use mine for a general travel mount doing stuff and I usually feel pretty safe on them bc there's not much that can take them down

I was thinking of metal runs with a wyvern but judging from the horrible turning radius and the fact the argy has more weight capacity I don't see a reason to use it for that tbh
