yes there are new engrams, you get more engram points and unoock mores tuff by levelling up but a lot of stuff is locked to DLC maps

and if you unlocked the dlc engrams you would need the DLC resources for most of em anyway

Didn't experience that. Before latest update, sound and DLC works well. Btw now I fully removed ARK, and reinstall with beta build enabled, looks like works fine.
Although many Linux users in the steam community are experiencing problems and for them this does not solve the problem with launching game

I tried looking for a solution but most posts were complaining that Linux couldn't launch DLC, so I just assumed it was disabled. Either way I forced the proton version and with about 400gbs of data I hope I have all my dlc lmao. Stupid DLC tab is missing.

I didn't test it for long time, just connect to Gen2 and Ragnarok. It works. Didn't do anything, just reinstall with linuxnative beta branch. I don't think that dl region matters, it's just CDN.

I could handle the slowness to respond to issues, I could handle the massive bloated filesizes, I could handle the official servers going down for a few days due to an unforseen bug. But all these things together, when the reason the game was purged from my system is so, so dumb? Years into development? I won't have it. Not when it'll take me 7 hours to get the game reinstalled on my system when they finally do fix things on their end

I really do like the game for the most part, and that's the worst thing, I will spend 7 hours of my computers time dedicated to re-downloading it
