My game crashed a couple hours ago and when i try to get back into Gen2 Official Server I either timeout OR i spawn in and everything in my hotbar is gone and my character has no outfit on but then timeout again shortly after. I have restarted, both, the game and my console and the problem is still there. Does anyone have any info that can help?

Everything goes into stasis if nobody is around to render it. Your tames will be fine nothing to worry about.

You'd be surprised. A lot of old games where it's someones first project end up being extremely spaghetti coded where even changing a simple thing could have unfound drawbacks.

Among us for example, an arguably much more simple game than ark. They mentioned once (I am paraphrasing) that there was a hat just sitting off screen that couldn't be seen and was just there, but they couldn't remove it because if they did, then everything would essentially break.

So Ark, which is a few years old, if you try and fix something, you can't just do that. You're first trying to fix so many years of previous bugs from previous coders. It ends up not being a worthwhile time investment as in the gaming space, as you just don't have the time to both fix old stuff and make new stuff, so majority of people would rather choose the new stuff.
