A good, well-maintained and high-modifier rifle has consistently carried me in ranged combat
Meanwhile RPG, while good for particularly big nasties, is really tough to keep loaded
Assault rifle just seems kinda garbage, regular shotgun is ok and haven't gotten to try pump-action yet

Typically I don't have a consistent source of charcoal for gunpowder
So I've gotta get as many shots outta each piece as I can

true. gunpowder is honestly so annoying. however on maps like ragnarok and the center you can harvest boatloads of charcoal from burnt trees

an industrial forge can also be used to smelt large amounts of charcoal, which is what i use

it's wierd, most of the advanced guns are pretty trash

Me and a buddy recently started playing ark again, we booted up a server and threw in our favorite multiplayers.

We have maturation rate set to 30 which should take a wyvern 3 hours to fully mature. But in our crystal wyvern grew in 5 minutes! Was there an update that buffed multipliers?

Depends, if its event colors or random mutations yes other then that, fire wyverns are normally orange, brown or black

Ice and lightning wyvern can naturally be white in every region. Fire can be kind of off-white in the body but not in any other region. Poison can get the same off-white on body and wings.

But yeah mutations and events can change that

Ill slaughter normally with my argy. I did kill an allo pack on a mountain earlier so that might of been one of the main reasons but i highly doubt it sense that mountain is a super rare spawn while the volcano gives a more common spawn

Then you've not looked in the right place

It's to the degree where you can't add anything to the container without it overspawning

There's a setting on some spawners called Only Count NPC, which does what you'd expect

Ive been flying around the mountains and not a single giga besides that one lvl 10 and that level 20 that i made drown a long while ago before i had my rex pack swarm the lvl 10

They can be hard to find given there's only like one or two at once, and spawners in SP can be very wonky unless you disable hibernation or dinowipe

On xbox you can't disable hibernation, so dinowipe
