I think sometimes about the old Ark, say you were teleported IRL and the year it's ... before 2020 maybe. Anytime you transfer server, you have up to a 15 minute window to lose your character. Losing all imprints/boss fights
Nowadays you have a ~5 second window to lose character, which means if the server drops 3 times per day (like Gen2 does) you have a 1/5760 chance every time you transfer server to lose everything.
Multiply by the amount of people who transfer servers per day >.> it's a scary game.

Going through the game as intended, haven't even ascended yet. beaten the broodmother three times though, need some thylaco claw-hooks before I can beat the ape in the two next difficulties. Have the resources for the dragon fight at the three difficulties, but need some more magmasaurs... Though I will also be taming two max level thylas. I'm actually planning on getting a minimum of two creatures each, max level tamed. Have not yet gotten that achievement.

In my opinion I would recommend Nitrado, I have being using them for years and never had an issue with them. What I like about them are

If you have access to an application called Beacon on your computer, you can link your server with the application. So once you have coded the server in the app you can get the app to apply the changes to the server for you so there is no chance of making a mistake or issue coding wise.
The other provider I heard is good is G-portal but I have not used them so I can not confirm

On Xbox on PVE I still have issues where the game doesn’t know where I am. Sometimes I can fix it by double jumping with a sino. But unless I log out or I fly up real high with the sino and die it’s bugged. I’ll basically be no where near what I see on my screen and other people will see me running into walls way away from where I see myself as.

Today i open it up and log in, strangely all of my creatures have despawned instead of the one i was riding and one raptor, all of our doors are 'locked' and inaccessible, and when i got in the smithy and refining forges were completely empty even though i know there was stuff in them and the crafting stuff was like appearing twice
