Darts are more expensive but makes taming faster, sometimes straight out doable. Tranq arrows do less torpor per damage, some creatures will die with crossbows and can only be tamed by darts

Caving and such for example, they just shred anything around you if you have 10 or so 😉
(stats with imprint are -BEFORE leveling oc- : 3400 HP and 1934% melee, so with the boost and their high DPS they kill even max level brontos and such in less than 2,3 seconds 🙂

So having a little swarm of like 5-10 following you on any cave dino makes this alot more fun and relaxed for artifact hunting or especially useful against those bats, im tired of wasting hundreds of shotgun ammo in like lava golem cave and the others i run regularly ^^

I see, but you're not listening. I used the wiki to try and find ovis on the island. I roamed the entire area/s using the argie to get around quickly in the location where they were suppose to spawn, according to the wiki. They were not there. I repeat. They were not there. (I don't have a transmitter to find specific dinos though, so they could have wondered away from the spawn location or could have been killed and eaten.) And that is why I had asked where the best spawn location was for them. To get the mutton I had to travel to Ragnarok to get the jutton, because they do spawn there. And I am not wanting to go to genesis just yet.
