It should ignore tek grams but I know it also doesn't respect any mod engrams that are level locked. So if you have ss or s+ it will unlock those tek grams. I recommend using the auto engrams mod by Chris if you want auto engrams and are on steam.
For xbox/epic, my point does not matter and will work as expected.

- Then I built a base in creative mode.
- I suicided
- I clicked create new character (respawn random)
- I walked to the base
- I found out that I can not enter the base because I am in a wrong tribe.

I've been curious about a few things in ark regarding crafting recipes, for instance why wood -> charcoal is a 1:1 ratio when charcoal is a much denser material. Least by real world standards would be 3:1 of a given organic material to charcoal by mass. The other is the gunpowder recipe, when SE came out they added sulfur. Could have tossed a few sulfur nodes on maps and update the recipe to add it. Would make more sense then stone/flint and charcoal by themselves.

Plan your boss strategy early on every map and make progress towards it asap. If you wait until you've mastered the map, gotten all the artifacts and tribute stuff, and only then start getting your bossing team ready, it's going to get super boring and tedious. Chipping away at it in the background while progressing normally will make your life much easier

Try to get higher level rexes before trying to attempt bosses. To check if a boss has a mutation, go to its inventory, go to ancestors, and on both sides you'll see 0/20, if it has a mutation it will add 1 to one of the sides.
I recommend watching a youtube video on how to check the mutation stat and how to breed in mutations without messing up your line

Probably not. Mine is 12k and 700%, bred and imprinted. Probably worth getting a breeding partner, ideally another high level so you can try to mix some stats, and get the imprint

When I made a snow owl trap ages ago when extinction was new, I set up a 2 wide (5 to 8 long?) cage with stone doors. I set up a bed and I had an argent or a tapejara or I forget but a non snow owl flier, and I would get the snow owl's attention when I was dismounted and got the owl inside the trap and I closed the gate and moved out of the cage, but my memory is vague. I think I died a lot.

There’s a common bug (at least on PC) where you cannot put the helmet on last, then it fails to give rad protection.
Maybe try re / unequip some part and then helmet on before you equip the last piece
