I was on southeastern shores, about to grab some ankylos from that bottom island. and i saw a couple carnos. naturally, the moment the thought of taming one passed through my head, a rex emerged from the bushes and killed it. there was still some hope left, but luckily another rex came from the bushes and ruined it. here's the best damn part. the moment i knock one of these suckers down, three stegos randomly aggro on it from the other side of the lake and turn it into meat paste. how long for the rex respawn?

The Island is a great one to start on; but I would say Lost Island is my favorite and its the one I started on. Biggest issue is only 1 boss and he is a BEAR to beat

If youre already familiar with the game no need for beginner server, dinos are level capped at 30 and you at 44, with the event starting later today you will be 44 in no time at all on a regular server

Creatures can be leveled 88 times (There used to be a 73 limit for standard dinos and newer got 88 and on single player it is always 88. I think the 73 limit changed as the wiki no longer reflects it) If you got him at 125 he should max at 213. Can you verify you got him at 125? Its possible you got him at 97

Argy is #1 IMO, flying keeps you out of danger, they can kill many creatures, and they carry a TON. They are slow but reliable. Diamond is my #1 exploration companion

Officials are the test servers of ark, the save lag plus the lag when people are cheating. The servers aren't reasonability reliable enough to call it fun to play on. Imo

Yep, every dino gets levels based on the effectiveness of the tame. If you give it good food and keep it safe you get as many as 90 'free' wild levels

90 is the wayyy top end though
