If you havnt gone to the caves yet, here are some tips. The outside and upper part of the caves are super steep, the magma's cannot climb it well but neither can you. The magmas will also chase you for a good while if you're on foot. There are scorps up and down the beach.

My suggestion, make a foundation with beds close to the cave but far enough away not to aggro on your escape. Put up a preservation bin and stash some crap pteras with good weight
