there are 2 types of increase in stats via level
1 - tamed level, which is a % increase in the stat, the % is decided by the value of the stat after taming (so it's like simple interest)
2 - wild level, which is a set value added onto the stat

so the higher the number of wild points into a stat, the more increase you'll get per tamed point into that same stat

Personally I much prefer SP since I don't mind being alone. You have full freedom over every config and mod, you don't have to worry about shit happening while you're not there to deal with it, you can build and tame wherever and whatever the fuck you like, and servers have some irritating jank issues too (which might not be that bad if you're used to them but they're annoying for me as someone who's very used to instant inventory opening times for example in sp)

its still gonna take a long time to get all my stuff back, which is a process i literally just had to go through before coming here

the way i died felt unfair and would have harmed my enjoyment of the game so i moved myself back to where i was before

if i die to a therizino or a carno or an allo or a rex then thats my fault for getting killed but when a troodon knocks me out it just kinda feels like bullshit

in the future ill make sure to prepare myself better but im not dealing with that this time

Troodons are super easy to spot with there eyes. It's the microraptors you need to worry about

The last time I died with my giga in cryo, I died in a lake on genesis 2, I go to get my stuff and next to the lake I get put to sleep by a eurypterid so I lost my giga because it hit me for 20m and I have 800hp
