for most resources they actually gather significantly lower amounts per node, ive tested them vs capped ankies and mantis and as well as some that had "only" 140ish pts per stat. even the 140 pts per stat got tons more shards/obs/flint etc than the stryders.
but with alot of them each setup to a specific box and skiffs to move em around, they sure are super efficient for one resoure lol. Just takes so much more stuff to actually make them work

Is Ragnarok busted? Downloaded, checked it was installed thru the dlc menu on steam and by manually checking the files myself, etc, but everytime i go to open it it takes me to the steam download page

steam also has a nice fps counter which is not as much in the "middle" of the screen as statfps, you need to activate it via steam in the options first

So like why have Tek turrets along with regular they do less damage than heavy and dont shoot rockets down

they do nice splash dmg to some soakers so the rider gets hit. plus they totally shred some like Rock Elementals.
R-Es are really strong for soaking heavies but no chance if u got some tek in there.
Plus they push back dinos etc

esp given how easy shards are to farm on gen1, the ammo is super convenient to get too

Yeah on the cluster I play on I'mma do gen 1 after I do extinction so imma try a lunar biome base

there are defo some nice spots esp along the world boarder, you can build really strong small bases there for smaller tribes too as they are covered overhead by the asteroid, on one side by a world boarder and theres teleport zones making soaking really hard if u set it up correctly^^
defo do some scouting before u choose a base spot, lunar can be really good for that, tho probably not as good as some other maps from what ive heard from friends 🙂

sure there are some ways, pillars will go through the platform and then you can play around with ceilings and walls or let them come down from extended ceilings and foundations from the cliff plat. you defo need some or someone will spacedolphin/tek punch / etc under it and blow the whole thing up at once
