I'm glad I tamed a flappidy flappy argy. Now I no longer have to bother trying to get to loot drops on walking mounts by running circles around hills trying to find a way up going great distances from where it came down looping around finally finding a way to get to the right elevation or in some cases higher only to then run off a cliff I did not see for my mount to then die from fall damage.
Besides, can you imagine life without the ability to fly? That's no way to live!

Also really depends on what you wanna do. Like do you wanna eventually get to boss fights? Like if you do change your difficulty offset to 1 and check the maximum difficulty box at the bottom which will give you 150 dinos then increase your tame speed a bit

You just got to know how to fight it. As long as you fight from a distance youre good. My friends who also play are always thinking their Mounts are OP and unkillable. The monster vine thing just makes them realize their mounts arent all that.

Apperantly bats have the ability to detect that you just killed a member of their pack even if you 1-hit them. For most wild creatures that counts as a stealth kill.

Being a grenadier dragon I decided to try to time-fuse a grenade throw and hurt a trio of bats with it while they were in the air. Timed it wrong and it bounced off and landed on the stone structures I'm using to repair the bridge to the Viking castle.
And by shear luck those structures tanked it. No damage to any of them. Damn I love stone!
