That is much more helpful, thank you. On single player/nondedi, you can freely transfer to any map you have, your dinos and structures and tribe will stay on that map though. If you decide to leave your character on that map, you will need to create a new one on your new map.

Once it is received, it has to be deployed to the unofficial servers.

Depending on what company hosts your server, it will either be automatically applied and a server restart initiated to install it, or your server administrator/owner has to do it.

Hello I wanted to make a simple server with no mods and that is cross compatible with epic games and steam.

• So I downloaded the server files using steamcmd,
• I added -crossplay to the batch file,
• I edited the 2 ini files (to change some xp and gather rates),
• and I port forwarded 27015, 27016, 7777, and 7778.

I am hosting the server on the same computer I want to play on. I keep getting connection time out error and I've tried everything I could find on google like making it a mesh network, allowing through the firewall, allowing NAT, joining from a singleplayer world and doing "open localhost:27015". Any ideas?

When I was playing yesterday it was funny. I was near the water and everytime I am near the lakes my frames drop to 7 or less from 40 so I just went fuck it and did a dino wipe and that temporarily fixed my frames
