That Sivatherium mod is genuinely nice ngl, It’s one creature I feel should be an addition to the game.

Another good mounted creature for shooting from is the Chalicotherium, it can throw boulders as well as speed heal when it sits.

Ok so I just got this game on my Xbox series x out of curiosity and like, are the visuals supposed to look like deep fried? With everything default settings, on lost island btw, it was so bright I could barely look at anything that wasn’t in my surrounding area so decided to turn off light blooms and rays and now it just looks bad in a different way. I don’t mind blurry visuals or slightly lower performance if it means I can still play the game but when everything just hurts to look at idk if I’m missing an important setting that everyone turns off or not.

Bad news with that as well, they low key retconned their own lore, but if you do change you brightness in video setting the island is playable, and a good start point, if you are just trying to learn and do some exploring, ragnarok will have the best scenery in my opinion, astreos if you want to buy it, I wouldn't recommend buying that map, unless you are dedicated to the grind

As to the graphics, if you have a card that can run all the things, you do have to fiddle with things to get them to be better at times. Even then some effects can be a little over zealous. Ragnarok for example has some brilliant red / pink / spaztic colorations at times that are part of its "makeup".

I'm running an old card so its low everything for me with all the bells and whistles turned off. Personally I prefer to play with fog off, sometimes clouds as well. Makes for a clearer and cleaner look in my opinion. I'm sure there are many folks who feel that sentiment as well.

But lighting - yea it gets weird all the time. Gamma command is your friend. Sometimes it bright, sometimes its pitch. Just depends on the flavor of map and the mood of the moment. XD

lol? You're talking about brand new content. LC was all new; skill tree, veilwyns, ossidons, all that is from an expansion map. Not included in the "original ASE version of the game." How many games give free expansions that don't have subscriptions? How many have subscriptions and still make you pay for new content?

They added Bobs tales as an add on so people had new things to utilize that was also "new content" for the old game. To help tie into Ark 2, etc. The fantastic tames are no different from anything special you can buy elsewhere. Its just in this style of game they can give you an edge.

Either way they aren't that far into the stratosphere with it. You just don't like that you're at a disadvantage in PVP; where you choose to play.

The inventory deleting is a thing since ASE, I always put my stuff in a dino before the ascension animation and then I can retrieve my stuff after. 🙂‍↕️ I don't know which bosses officially do this, but I use this method with every ascension just to be safe.

Its never really been safe to keep an inventory when beating a boss and ascending. Most people think of just the element they get from bosses (excluding a couple) but anything can get deleted / removed. We always dump into our dino and strip down just to be safe. It also helps if you end up not respawning on a bed and are somewhere across the map.

Current ark journey on extinction is going very well honestly, got myself some scorched desolititans after grinding some yutys into extraordinary kibble. I plan to make an army and use them for in general uses against the titans instead of gigas or carchas (may get some carchas for OSD runs for loot like meks but besides that, I think desolititans can work just fine for other stuff)

Cosmetics from? Mods? Other events? Haven't had any issues personally so far with either. Though some mods may be out of date after the substantial update and may not have been recooked by the mod creator yet for the current version. So some may be affected. But this isn't broken if its a mod, its just part of the games updating process and mod makers needing time and the updated dev kit to make changes.

To be fair.... We have at least 20-30 mods, skins etc. This map is the longest when it comes to loading them in and the amount of lag. But that being said, it's also the largest map there is. But it sounds like you've done literally everything that I would have tried. I hope that you can figure something out. I'm guessing it's most likely a mod issue. So I would add 1 mod back in at a time (sucks and takes a bit) but that's how you'll know. & You'd be surprised sometimes it's a cosmetics/skins issue.

Sorry if this isn’t the right channel, but I’m not sure where or how to ask this, but I’ve had a problem for over a year now where, after grinding the items to unlock cosmetics, they disappear.
I select it, I lose the stuff it took to make it, but it’s gone. Not in the inventories, the smithy’s, the cosmetics. I couldn’t get any new items from last fears Fear Ascended or Winter Wonderland. I also couldn’t get anything from this year’s love evolved or the new Easter event and in at my wits end trying to figure out what.
Even trying to spawn certain things or even creatures gets a “cannot spawn item on this map message”
I’m on single player on the PlayStation and I don’t now how to fix this problem.

Dino carrying always been a setting especially if your single player set to PvE. AllowFlyerCarryPvE=True in your GUS.ini or find the checkbox in your menu.
