Trigger Points:
・Immediately after launching the game (Title Screen).
・When attempting to open the "Mod List" menu.
・When attempting to join an unofficial server that has mods enabled.
Note: Joining unofficial servers without mods (Vanilla) works perfectly on the same PC.

Comparison & Testing (Cross-Device)
Laptop PC (Existing): Using the same network/router, the laptop runs v84.4 with no errors. Modded servers are accessible.
Desktop PC (New): Only this device encounters the error, suggesting a device-specific configuration issue rather than a network/ISP problem.

Try doing a blank search to refresh the ark data screen. It usually works when stuff is invisible on there. If that doesn't work it usually means corrupt data. You'll need to get your server admin to change the Cluster IDs if your on a unofficial server or contact skittle if your on official.

We’ve got this current crash. Have you by any chance got any creatures inside the obelisk from another map that aren’t allowed in this new map youre on? And also have you made sure all the modded dinos youre using (if you are using mods) are all on downloaded to the server?

Because here’s the thing, I would crash immediately upon opening the creatures terminal on ragnarok in any obelisk, and I didn’t even have any creatures to upload because my hubby had to take them all as I couldn’t upload without crashing instantly. And then, when I tried to open the creatures terminal on Valguero I would still crash instantly… no creatures uploaded. My husband had the same crashing issue, until he loaded a single player mode up with all the mods he was using and took out the incompatible creature which was the snow owl.

He still can’t bring some of our creatures onto Valguero even though we have the mod loaded and the modded creatures we can’t bring in are spawning on the map. And I still cannot access my creature terminal without crashing, it’s definitely an issue with creature tab crashing and not allowing you to throw some of your dinos out.

so basically i want to host a non-dedicated server (The Centre), but i would like to spice it up, so it is a survival map so everybody (including myself) has to only play survival mode and tame creatures traditionally and normally how you’s all would play in normal PVE. But here’s the twist, i’m thinking of maybe going into creative mode before opening the server and spawning creatures from other maps just to spice the map up a bit (eg: wyverns, managarmr’s, snow owl’s, etc), is that allowed? and would anyone play it? 🥲 Like the creatures would be spawned with commands but everyone and myself have to only tame them using survival skills (eg: tranquillisers, passive tame, NO FORCETAMES ALLOWED.), is ts allowed nd would anyone play it? also sorry if this is the wrong channel for this, i don’t talk much in this server!

Is anyone having issues since last update where your UI loses focus? For instance, when I'm typing in a chat message sometimes the game loses focus of the chat window and I'll end up hitting a bunch of hot keys unintentionally which has caused me to jump to my death off an argy before.

Hello everyone I'm having constant crashes when I close my inventory, I've gone down to as few as 10 mods and it still happens and I cant determine why. Its literally on every map experience the island. maps like Ragnarok, or aberration, won't even load unless I severely limit the amount of mods I use, and yet, I have 90+ mods on the island rn and it's been running great, although I'm sure I'll encounter issues eventually with it, its mainly as a test. For the other maps, I'm trying to use the Paleo mods, dragon's kingdom, draconis glacus, the nothesaurus, and a couple premium mods like sparky, the Edemontontonia, Teraxitititan and the lyvithian, humans asa, and I'd like to fit a few of clays edits in if I can. for the QOL I'm using upgrade station, visual storage, froggymacs kibble station, cybers structures, dino depot, super spyglass, auto engrams, dino painter, cliffans wardrobe/ medieval weapons, custom dino levels, peaceful platforms, cliffans backpacks, as well as about a dozen skin mods that don't get added to my single player runs directly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Including just putting the damn game down I've been trying to get this to work for almost 2 weeks now.

depends on the mod. typically mods are made and tested for servers. some very amateur mods may lack netcode, and not function on servers, but stuff that does not have it's own custom programming ie very unique attacks, equipment, new systems, and similar wont have to worry about that

some mods also just dont work in singleplayer due to it's limitations, or have bugs for the host

it is unusual for simple stuff like dino and structure mods to break due to the server type

Anyone had this issue in ASA recently. Since one of the more recent patches, not sure when, whenever I select something, it just keeps deselecting. Takes about 1-2 seconds to happens but it won't stop. Trying to split items transpere just one item, it closed the tab and i have to click it again.

tbh official isnt worth playing really. hackers/exploiters everywhere and its honestly kinda dead, you either get into a big tribe with cheaters/ exploiters or play pve until a tribe that cheats comes around you lose everything. but unofficial and single player can be very fun. im currently playing primal chaos on single player.

How do you turn on/off the charge light of your charge pet when it is on your shoulder in ASA? Back in ASE you could bind two custom emotes to keybindings so just selected the clap emote as on of those. But I can't find function on ASA.

the clap emote turns them on/off by default.

hold t then go to emotes and directly at the bottom is the clap emote, that turns them on/off while on your shoulder

Yes. I know that. But using the emote UI EVERY time you want to turn the light on/off is getting irritating very quickly.

As I said. In ASE you could BIND the Clap emote to a keypress. But can't find how to do that in ASA.

Honestly most of the new stuff from WC has been a bug filled mess resulting in a complete disappointment. The new content hasn't really been fun enough to compensate either imo. I'd suggest waiting until genesis 1 drops before returning properly.

Spawns for them have always been really inconsistent. They don't seem to respawn properly after a dino wipe until the servers been restarted. Unfortunately the restart don't seem to always fix these days like it used to. 🤷‍♂️

Feels like somethings blocking them from spawning at times but I've got no idea what it could be.
