@heavy cedar @proven grove Since the servers have just come back online I have logged into my server PVE EU 6057 and there is a certain mountain area where each time I go and others on the server go to, our games crash and we get kicked off the map. Everytime I try log back in I get kicked off the game instantly, it is as if that area is glitched out and this still hasn’t been fixed as I’ve just tested it again. Please take a look in to this I know you are already doing work with fixing stuff but this specific area on this specific server has a bad issue right now. The cords for this area where I get kicked off the game are roughly 32.1 12

Absolutely. You have to have a test server. I know Eve Online does/did it that way. The test server would have all the patches and bug fixes and people would log in and test new stuff out BEFORE it went live.

stuff like this happens to most large-scale online games (and other services) and will continue to. there is really no way to perfectly test stuff for reliability under real-world load/scale. for the server corruption issues, it is probably related to the sheer size of official savefiles and the general overloaded state of the servers

they did that for the voice integration changes and a few past tests. problem is a beta server cant simulate the load levels (and player shenanigans) of an active official server, so it wont catch a lot of issues like this. it just ends up with only a few really technically inclined testers who can figure out how to install two copies of the game at once

With no context, a base could be a few foundations, few walls, smithy.. no roof, a Para and dilo for company. Or. In single player things don't respawn when you're offline. It's a frozen game pretty much. Things only spawn when your online for whatever the spawn timer is set at. Reduce your spawn timer and you'll be good @uneven pollen

On extinction someone built beh gates surrounding an entire lake and river in the snow Biome so no one could build a base near there. My advice is find an unofficial server that doesn't allow that and the admins are strict to enforce it

Anyone got any tip on how to find Deathworms on Scorched Earth? I flown several laps around the outer desert and can't find a single one. But "cheat ListDinos" says there are 623!!! Are they all hiding at 50/50? Playing on a unofficial dedicated server.

ok heres are the 4 markers just run between these on a thyla or pyromane and you should atleast get 1 deathworm spawn per loop 48.7/89.0 - 47.7/92.9 - 58.2/91.3 - 58.0/87.9

I only have that issue if I am in inventory but never accidentally went to a different monitor in inventory, always had purpose in borderless windowed. Fullscreen should be the only issue with freezing unless your playing on a laptop, that might be an issue too but I dont know how Laptops currently utilise both GPUs as 10 years ago they used to dual run at the same time just to conserve heat (Your desktop was using internal, control panel like NVidia's controlled if an app used the discreet)

Does anybody else also have the problem, that the cooker can´t craft sweet vegetable cake? Doesn´t matter if it´s the cooking pot or the industrial cooker.
It pulls everything that is needed for the cake but it shows that there is no sap and no honey although it´s in the inv of the cooker.

Hello, I just bought the game and in the need to play I went to unofficial servers to join but it seems that my game is running on 83.11 (CL 798894).
Server network running 83.21 (yesterday was 83.04 or 83.4 I guess).
Servers I want to join are on 83.21 and 83.4.
The problem is that I cannot find any setting to choose which version I want to play Because everytime I want to join a server it says I LOST CONNECTION WITH HOST.

you cant change version, short of using steam's commandline to download an older one, which will not let you play online. you also cant see or attempt to join servers on an incompatible version

that is actually kind of hard, since the default level increments are 1-30.. you would need to set the difficulty to 3.333333333333333
