I'm not playing currently because I have to wait for mod updates, but I feel you. I lost everything (3 years old rag) on ASE because of the Aquauhoh update and couldn't muster the will to go back. I've lost younger saves in ASA, though in situations like that, I just either restart or cheat my way back to where I was. Not saying you have to/should- it's your game and you shouldn't have to do that. Just try to back up your saves more often and don't try to play on release day if you have mods core to your save.

Honestly, I only play ark because the concept of the game. Because servers are full of hackers, they are always breaking the game with changes that do not benefit the users, servers lagging, mesh’s never fixed, end of base spots, became pay to win plus the horrible support, I’m just waiting some company create a game with the same concept and I will be migrating to that.

people spend their time with cave builder mods and construct optimal caves based on the ase originals. they can create whole new ones by hollowing out mesh or just build onto existing ones. like, giving island ice cave a crouch point again. making snow south a viable base spot by shutting off 3/4 entrance parts and lowering the front massively.

people then sell each location to server owners from anywhere from $50-100. the caves then get paraded around and promoted and draw in the unofficial players. EVERY major unofficial server has several, and some even have dedicated cave builders. people donate to servers with these because its fun again

wildcard is fully aware of the market and is actively involved, orchestrating the bulk of it for illicit gains

Right so I just got teleported halfway across the map because I tried grappling onto a the white cliffs with the deinonychus

When I launch the game through ArkAscended_BE.exe, it asks me how I want to sign in. If I choose Epic, everything works.My Epic name appears, and I can see all the Epic servers.

However, when I try to launch the game through Steam, it says that I’m already connected, but it still logs me in as “Player 1.”

What’s strange is that even though I didn’t purchase the game on Epic, logging in through Epic still works — I can see all the Epic servers, but I can’t actually join them because I don’t own the game there..

Oh I like the unique process for taming them, really like Garuga's creatures in general.

Only thing I would critique about it is that it feels strange that it just...passes out from being smacked with a torch. Something that might make more sense is smack it a couple times and it enters some feared stance where you can feed it, then repeat.

As a warning for those who use Super Cryo Storage, podding a Megaraptor permanently bricks their ability to use camo. Even uploading/downloading from ARK data doesn't fix this. I've informed the dev of the mod though I'm still trying to find workarounds to fix it.

Yeah, two people I know are having the same issue, and I’ve seen quite a few others mention it in chat too.
Seems like it happens if you bought the game after the Valguero update.They were thinking about getting a refund, but they’ve put it on hold for now.

on a more serious note, theres alot of quality of life stuff, graphics are cooler and building became incredibly easy and manageable

So I have all graphics maxed and runs pretty good and looks pretty good most the time to. Question though, why is it so hard to see in the under water area on Valguero? The plants are so bright it's blinding.. but nothing else is lit up.. it's pitch black. And foggy.

theres INI's / pvp graphics you can try to get more fps but if u dont already have the game maybe dont risk buying yet
