Why are there 2 mods showing up in my installed mods list that I haven't installed? I assume I'm not the only one.

so I rent a server, and recently had some very high level dinos "uploaded" to server based on their tribe logs (force join), above that there was a dino uploaded that wasnt even part of the map, one of the dinos had a few mutations and was imprinted by a player that has never been on the map, nor was in the tribe...I am the only admin, mostly play with a friend of mine who wouldnt know how to type a command to save his life even IF he had admin access(he doesnt)... its not a cluster, just a solo server, I am being vague for privacy reasons but is it possible to spawn in multiple types of very level dinos with some sort of hacks? (close to level 1000) I checked the lineage and it was 1st generation on the dinos without mutations, and only a few gens for the one with the mutations....tribe was only 1 day old as well

if they are cosmetic mods then they were downloaded due to other players on the server having them. can go into advanced settings and disable dynamic cosmetic downloads if you don’t want that to happen

@unique mango dont use your good mek to make megamek. Use prim meks. The stats of the megamek are from the MOMI module you get from Beta KT, and they really aren't all that different. And you don't get your Meks back after.

Yeah, this one is brutal and not the normal survival one lol, dont take my advice, but i usually make a crossbow with tranq arrows and shoot argys , they try to fly away when their torpor is high(what makes them get knocked out) and where they land i put up walls on fence posts

So they dont get eaten by others, but i play this game with -iq

They are usually around mountains, and if they are low lvl they are pretty bad and easy to knock out/ tame

Hey, I’m not sure if anyone has also seen/mentioned this issue or not, but I seem to be having issues with downloading premium mods. I’m on Windows PC, and when I try to download a premium mod I’ve purchased, it’ll say “installing” for a split second and then it goes back to saying “install” right after. Free mods download just fine, and it’s only with premium mods that I’m experiencing issues with. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, as well as simply exiting the program and then starting it up again. Any advice would be appreciated.

if the config file is resetting, you are editing it incorrectly and making it invalid

to enable it, you need to set PreventOfflinePvP=True under https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Server_configuration#[ServerSettings] and not use notepad or another microsoft text editor

We’re on unofficial through nitrato. Dashboarding and crashing left and right at least yesterday and today. I have restarted our server many times over. Be able to get on for a few minutes and then crash. We originally thought it was a mod conflict. After deleting the possible conflict things actually got worse. Gachas need to be spaced apart about 8 foundations away from eachother and each pair of gachas that are next to eachother have to be opposite sex then you need to have plenty of owl pellets in each one and a whole lot of food that they need to eat to make the crystals which could be stone or berry seeds

Also they won't produce in a cave

There used to be a method to spam pellets but I don't think that works on AsA so I've found it works best if you have 8 owls out producing pellets but let them add up inside the gachas 1st before you try to have them produce that way they keep a steady amount in their inventory

Anyone else has or had an issue on unofficial clusters with over populated caves. Even the ice wyverns on rag are now starting to have a cluster of them in one area. The server I’m on can’t figure out what’s happening whether it’s a mod causing it or something else

That’s odd we had some issues before and people found deleting mods and reinstall fixed if your servers modded.

hi so i have this one last thing for my server and just need a littler help if anyone doesn't mind helping the wiki doesn't quite explain what I need so...I want to change boosted stat multiplier per level for tamed Dino's you see for character I have health ,weight and stam increase 1000 per level I want to do the same for Dino when tamed but its confusing lol I don't understand how Dino tamed multiplier, Dino tamed add multiplier and Dino tamed affinity are meant to work so um unsure what to change the values to if anyone can help that would be great. i have pics of my manager to help but cant post them here any help apreciated anything i read i dont quite understand so far

that means you can't imprint them, which gives a huge bonus, so yeah, it is too fast

well then it depends on what difficulty level you want to defeat the bosses, since the harder they are, the more imprint will be worth it, also some caves do need strong dino's to beat

the higher you make the wild dino levels the easier the game gets, because you get more taming bonus levels.
40+20=60 against 40 wilds, is only 20 difference
150+75=225 against 150 wilds, is 75 difference
