But it's now 9 years later and they've ported the game to like 6 different platforms and announced a 2nd game and they had a TV series made... and still run the company like they're a 10-person indie team.

But since their playerbase apparently accepts that level of investment, it's probably the "Pokemon Effect" in action where it's a $20B IP and they still only have a dev team of like 180 people and put out games that look like PC games I bought in 2002

Good news and bad news.
Good news - the dino leash pulled the oviraptor out of the mesh.
Bad news - while I was switching ranges (to put a protective Carcha in case it got out), it pulled half of the base dinos through the base floor and inside the mesh. Got them out by adjusting the leash range but FFS!!
And you can't select the dino leash range as before, you have to circle through all of them.

Nvm, it pulled all the base dinos down, inside and out but the original Oviraptor is inaccessible, tracker shows it's in the mesh, the body is visually outside. Relogged. Game crashed. Waited for login lock. And now it's even further down the mesh as before. Da f is wrong with this game..

There is a way to get it .. use the command. Sky to go into the mesh close enough to whistle it to follow you, it should pop to the surface.. go out of mesh, just above the ground and use the command walk and you should land on the ground ..

Not sure if @heavy cedar will allow me to use admin commands on official servers. Also they've overweight. They won't be able to follow. I managed to get most dinos out of the mesh except 2 dung beetles and 1 oviraptor. I feel like this should be in caps, bold and pinned to the channel -

orbital supply drop, it's a variation of the classic supply drop you find in all other maps (those that fall from the sky) that spawns only in Extinction*
it's like a defense mission, you activate the OSD, kill like 5 waves of dinos and you receive a good amount of loot, the dinos can target both you and the OSD, if it gets destroyed, the mission fails

the OSD has 4 difficulties - blue easiest, yellow medium, red hard/legendary and purple being the hardest, each difficulty has it's own loot table, levels of dinos, type of dinos that spawn and so on

The bot outside puts wood into the linked storage, but the bot inside my forge room won't take the wood out of the linked storage and put it into the forges.

since you seem confused by this, i am going to hazard a guess you have not been keeping save backups, in which case the server is screwed. next time, make regular backups. any data not backed up in basically walking dead

breeding mutation with mutation does not work.

a 20/20 breeding with a 0/20 will give a 20/20 so its impossible to breed more mutations without using an unmutated.

as far as the CPU goes : ASA is fairly well optimized on the CPU front a lower end CPU like the R5 7600 / 5700 X3D (i wouldnt recomend the X3D if you are building a new PC) though you can stll get a very playable experiance on an R5 5600 X / non X

Hey all. Random question for my builders out there. Im trying to raise a Dedicated storage to be as close to flush with a ceiling (floor) as possible. Im trying everything i can think of to raise a dedicated storage off the ground, but i cant seem to find anything that works perfect. Closest ive gotten is placing a saloon table on the ground, then a reg table ontop of that. It gets pretty damn close once i place the Dedicated storage ontop of that, but i feel like there has to be a better/easier way?

Ive also done 2 saloon tables which is even better, however those are a bit difficult as you cant really place things on the edge as they are a circle, so cant get it directly to the wall.

soon as you get to chitan you should be good and metal tools, i'd take some hard hitting carnivore dinos too, maybe a carno and such

i'd build your stats in hp, stamina and maybe damage, but weight is a very important i always put weight up to 500 and my hp around 300 and 150 stamina

Nope just make sure you have food in its inventory until it’s 10% then make sure there is food in a trough for it

the more “damage” on the weapon the more it does so for crossbows the damage rating(when u hover over it) will do more damage and torpor when its higher up instaf of js dmg or just torpor just like more damage kn a shotgun means more damage in general
