no, its just dependant on where you go, some areas are more dangerous than others, I'd stay away from the middle of most maps to avoid this and any swamps

As a unofficial server owner a friend invited me to a official map he has been playing on center. And omg the performance on the map makes it so hard to play. Now my center map has 20 mods vs the official map with no mods only some skins if you like. This is why unofficial has rules to stick by. These bases sizes are so massive and take up very large areas the tribes build structures have to surpass 10k structures. Not including the pillar spam is so much and goes way beyond there bases and even in areas no bases in site and pillers with ladders it crazy. In official last night the game keep freezing you where stuck for a good 30 seconds and the pings where up at the 300.

Worked the second time. I think if you have corrupted spawn under you as you transform into the Mega Mek, his collisions cause a Stack Overflow and it crashes the server.

if you want to make it easier on yourself i would look into making the max wild level 150, not 30, the lower you make it, the smaller the taming bonus, the harder it is

no, they go up in steps of 5 then, so 5 / 10 / 145 / 150, it has nothing to do with your levels

it's all about the bonus levels you get when you tame them, say a level 30 would only get 14, but a 150 would get 74, that difference is why it is "easier" on higher max level dino's
and the minimum level would be 5, and they go up in steps of 5 up to 150

You don’t need a battery just make a generator and place it nearby if you’re on ascended

If you’re on base ASE you’ll need electrical cables and a little box thing that goes at the end of the cable to connect to the air con to get it working

On ASA however it’s wireless so your gene should just power it on

Hey, question: Has anyone encountered a tear in the mesh on Extinction? I went right into the entrance of the Ice cave and walked near the right wall, fell through and went down into the mesh. BOOM, 10,000,000 damage to both me and my giga (with her saddle that cost 40k hide ). Went back in Admin mode, fell through, and even in infinite stats mode died miserably and couldn't get my stuff. RIP Giga 2. She was a good girl and helped me on many many orbital drops.

Both before and after modifying the announced settings the only conclusion or constant is that crafting skill and chilli have 0 effect on the produced mek and that the level on the blueprint does NOT directly determine the crafted level in any sort of linear fashion ie 471 BPs will ALWAYS result in a 381 but 468bp would give a 375 while a 430bp produces a 380 with nearly every level between 470-430 results in levels higher and lower than BPs that are both higher and lower.

the above levels and trends hold true for both vanilla/official settings/clamps aswell as doubling the default mek related clamps.

with results being replicatable with different (but same level) Bps in 17-19/20 {spent a good while doing science}

Quality (ie prim, ram, apr, jrn, msc, asc, etc) having no influence on resulting mek either.

I finished my island playthrough, uploaded my good dinos into the obelisk and started scortched. Few days into scortched I copied the save file fully cause I was scared of corruption.
All this time, I didnt go to the obelisk as I wanted to tame some good dinos to justify going back to the mutated ones.
But today when I returned to the obelisk, the obelisk is empty, no creatures, no saddles
I loaded up the old save and made a run to the obelisk and the creatures and saddles are there.
So how could I take the old obelisk data and put it in my new save? dont want to lose my months of building on scortched

i just want to make sure im doing this correctly cause it seems like my mutations are few and far between,

i have 10ish females to 1 male, all with the combined stats i want. all females are clean with 0 mutations. i swap out male everytime i get a desired mutation, i have kept my clean males to use later on (i think its how u stack? cant remember)

i have gone through hundreds and hundreds (500+) and can barely seem to get past 6 mutations, my rexes and deinos which are sitting at 3-4 mutations with 400ish eggs. sabers between 50-70 babies with only one mutation

i just want to see if my process is correct, and if these odds are normal or does it seem like ive messed something up

The more mutations you get from what i've read and heard, the harder it is to get them.. like more = less % chance to get it, thus you would want to increase the amount of breeders you're using, and they also suggested stacking mut's on male first, then working female's mutations.

but only work Mutations with clean. so if your male has 20 mutations, you'd wanna swap to a male without any and then work on the female ones

Yes we have been experiencing this to, can replicate the crash on non-dedi server and dedicated server. With and without mods or with a completely clean install.

The first time we crashed, the Mega Mek spawned ontop of a bunch of corrupted creatures and started glitching out, other people said that the Mega Mek gained velocity and went flying off into the distance. But on my screen I was just glitching inside the corrupted under me.

Next, we made sure to combine the Mega Mek away from the other Meks and no corrupted nearby and it didn't crash.

I have tried collecting in the Eastern waterway in city and the desert cave...Use of dino scanning mods lists the coordinates which are generally in inaccesible areas. Its a painful experience when farming tributes that are required for King Titan fights

I’m in a mess of a single player Extinction world: Any chance Ark Devs will fix these things soon? 1) Crashes that lock up the computer with 25+ crashes on my screen; game will not fully crash and exit 2) Mesh holes everywhere; Dino’s stuck in mountains, death bags stuck far inside rocks, etc 3) Wasteland light missing from Fabricator 4) Colored beams of light only showing after OSD is gone 5) Blurry map; have to enter “r.streaming.poolsize 0” to see the map, every time the game starts 6) etc etc etc…. I mean, all these exploits and server fixes….where are the patches? IT’S BEEN ALMOST 6 WEEKS

if your computer is hardlocking/crashing or cant exit the game via taskmanager/contorl-alt-delete, you have a broken computer. full stop. game simply cant do that.
for the rest, there should be a huge patch coming. a lot of changes like that need to be crossplatform client patches, which means long certification delay on top of the development time

Queen bee isn’t guaranteed in every hive. Take honey from the hive, If small bees come out, then a queen should be inside. No bees = no queen

Shares spawn with spinos.kill spinos and eventually will spawn. Giga and cars spawn oftwn not jusr server restart. Just generally easier to find as you know onw or the other will spawn in 3 areas

They spawn in the swamp, there is at least 8 spawn points I check when I run one. Typically there seems to be only be about 2 or 3 around at a time. If someone has one trapped at the swamp that will take up one of the spawns. You have to be very active at hunting them and killing ones you don't want or you won't get new ones to spawn.

I believe the difference is in physical size and how much crop they hold. Not produce, but actually hold in inventory. Also, what types of crops. I believe the small ones can ONLY do berries. The medium can do regular crops and the large can do the plant species crops

Just from our experience on our official we've only ever been able to find up to 3 simultaneously. I don't think its any hard and fast rule they just don't seem to be super common. But if you keep killing them then new ones spawn quickly.
