It makes solo broth runs a bit of an adventure. Getting spotted by a nameless or a reaper is probably death.

I know getting spotted by a tentacle spawns loads of balls that chase you down.

Hello, I wanted to resume the game after almost 3 months without playing after a friend told me that there had been a big performance patch. He told me that with this 4070ti he easily reaches 60, 70 fps in full ultra. I have a ryzen 7 5800x3d with a RTX 4080 16gb and 32gb of ram with 2K monitor and IMPOSSIBLE to reach more than 50 fps on the island with settings between high and ultra (30 fps on aberration). Is this normal ? Am I the only one ? My friend told me it was weird that my CPU and GPU power usage was around 60% and that it was probably because of that. If you want immediate improvements there are console commands to change some of the lighting, fog, cloud effects and what not though i recommend you see what is eating up your gpu and cpu usage using task manager

My timing stinks. Was transfering servers around 12:30 and game hung had to restart then wouln't join server. Couldn't log into survive the ark forums. can't receive password reset emails but get account temporary locked for 3 wrong passwords instantly and then check discord and find they suspended server transferring and now when I log on to server get the make new survivor screen.

Hope I haven't lost my character. Can't even make a new account with survive the ark forums because the confirmation email also won't show up.

yes you install it but each player has limited space they can use on mods from ark. it doesnt use up your SSD or anything. try checking your C: drive properties and see the file count and than download a mod. than check again. it shouldnt change.

there is never a release without bugs there was probably too many Sunday night thats why they pushed it to today. they probably have been testing all day they will test until the end of there extended business day then decide. I can imagine they would release anby earlier why not take as much time in the day as you can to fix as many issues. the same impatient people are the ones that would get on here hour 1 of the release and complain its buggy.
