Yes. You need to backup your entire Saved directory once you start doing that, not just individual map directories.

Go to a terminal at an obelisk, tek transmitter you built or charge node station on abberation. You can store items in the upload, upload creatures and then upload your character.
Warning! You will drop anything you have on you - including your chibi pet - on the ground in a bag that has a decay timer.

When you select a different map you don't have a character already on, you will be prompted to download your existing character. You will spawn at either a bed you own or a regular spawning location in Single Player.

Yes you can, if you have tekgram unlocked you can use transmitter if not you will have to go to an orb, you can also upload your creature then you will have to download it on destination map withing 24 hours

Servers will time out stuff kept in that place. Single Player never does.

dragon does 20% hp with each fire breath, veggie cakes heal 10% but only a max of 2.1k. so probably because your theris have way more hp than expected, optimal hp is 21k exactly

yeah, more melee is better than more health beyond 21k hp. your current melee is so high that you should be perfectly fine anyway. biggest concern is the theris falling into the lava in the tek cave

if you want to have some kind of safeguard in case somehow either all your theris die or fall in lava, you can bring a tek jetpack and a lot of shotgun shells to finish the fight in the air. nothing can hit you in overseer arena except the drones which do 1ish damage as long as you stick to the ceiling

If you want an easy way, find an empty scorched server. Bring a Rex. Go slow walking around the the desert sand 'shore'. You'll find lots of ghost creatures, spot any skeletons. And the piles will be super obvious on spawn.

there was a thing on small tribes where certain tribes using malicious software stopped servers showing up in browser. Not sure if it spread over to asa or not especially pve of all things but you can never know. Maybe for autodecay to clear a spot they wanted? If what im saying is the case the server will be joinable from browser sometimes. If you get in your friends can join off your account or vice versa. If you know anyone who plays that server try and join their game. That was they way around that problem on ase.

Good day, I’m reaching out regarding a small issue I encountered while ascending to Genesis 1 from Extinction. To keep it brief, I defeated the Alpha King Titan, but on Genesis, it’s showing that I only defeated the Gamma. I prefer to keep everything aesthetically correct, so I’d like my implant to reflect the Alpha kill.

Is there a command I could use to correct this? I found the command "playercommand Ascend3," but I’m concerned that it might also trigger the ascension for Genesis 1 or unlock the Master Controller ascension, which I don’t want.

Ideally, I want this ascension to only apply to the Alpha King Titan, keeping previous boss kills as they are and avoiding any unintended unlocks for other maps. Is there perhaps another command or solution for this issue?

PlayerCommand Ascend3 is for the Island's Overseer on Alpha

They'll implement all fear ascended event assets into the base game shortly after the event ends, after that you can safely remove the FA mod and start up whichever event you want. A few users have also been able to successfully run multiple event mods at the same time, I just do not know if you're willing to attempt it.

ShowMyAdminManager will pull up an admin panel, you can see your ID there. I do not remember if your survivor implant ID is the same.

Depends where you start. I usually start in Sunken Forest and grab up some Gacha's and other misc. tames down there. Snow owl and managarmr's are easy to tame if you have a pocket trap.

You tame a Gatcha by dropping structures in front of it, just throwing them out of your inventory. They pickup items and store them inside themselves. Then eat certain things after a while. LIke structures, stone, etc.

They have a weird hapiness mechanism where they don't like being near other Gatcha of the same sex. So even while taming you'll have to isolate them into male-female pairs.

You'll have to tame a lot to get decent material production. And probably breed a lot of them to get element or black pearl ones. The resource each produce is only of one of the 'primary' types. It's 100% random on birth, not an inheirted or mutated property.

My smithy says storage icon (-74/75) I have not put anything in the smithy all day today and my chemistry bench a bit storage (-1/100) and fabricator storage (-28/70) there is nothing in them and i recently crafted them 2 hours ago, I play ASA single player on PS5. In the lore the ark creatures are created in order to test the survivor and cause rapid evolution, that's why they are beefed up.

Ga has can't be closer than 15 foundations if I remember correctly but you will notice because gacha will cry. Use that stuff that snow owls spit they love that stuff then add everything from stone even flint seeds will do. I think moschops was used to collect or people did some incredible platforms with 4 corners distant exactly 15 foundations then crystals would descent from high to the ground on some kind of bridges

The note progress is tied to your account possibly because it is a steam achievement.

But you should be able to open them with a new character, so something odd is happening with your saved characters.

dinos have a X amount of torpor (depending on level, type of dino), each tranq arrow shot deals X amount of torpor to the dino (exact amounts can be found on internet, I believe a default 100% crossbow deals 160 torpor/arrow, not sure tho)

Arrows shot from crossbow deal 160 torpor in total, but the impact deals let's say 100 torpor, and the 60 adds up within around 7 seconds, so let's say you keep shooting the dino without giving the additional 60 to add up, you not only lose on torpor, but also deal more damage to the dino, because the 60 does not stack, it resets on each arrow - my personal recommendation that works very well -> shoot the arrow, reload, when the reload animation ends, count 3-4 seconds and shoot - rinse and repeat for full effectiveness
(hope it helped and was somehow understandable)

Also, some dinos (raptor, pteranodon etc) have a headshot bonus - that means if you shoot it in the head, it deals more torpor and more damage, which is trust me very useful

Probably the most efficient will be Carcha through the swamp. Theri may yield more with all levels into power harvesting, but for speed/efficiency carcha is better.

However if you want to set yourself up for passive success, start an Ovis line. We are getting 15k hide per Ovis on smalls for weekend rates.

The problem with the ovis method is that you slotcap on mutton and can actually crash a server with high enough HP on a sheep. Which is to say, it can get seriously OP.

Dodowyvern, he can use all three base wyvern breath attacks, his base damage is high and depending on his level an insane health pool. We had a 180 on our server that over 4mill hp. Alpha wyvern queen can be killed with decent boss rexs or crystal wyverns, I've killed her with 10 good rexs and me doing jump attacks on a deino.

Good frog can solo it and get you tons of cement paste. Take a shotgun for arthros though, decent melee on your frog can deal with it but the damage reflection is nasty and they'll spit at you on his back. If you didn't know you can use weapons whilst riding frog. Take a couple of gas masks just in case and no armour, if an arthro does spit at you it has to directly hit your face to damage the gas mask, but if you wear armour any hit will damage it.

I actually bought the game yesterday and its very beefy for my rtx 4060 ti, but if ur comfortable playing on lower ping i would say its worth it .. they improved a lot of things but theres some crashes and it is still the same game but with improvements.

Yeah, the walls are higher in ASA than ASE, but I don't exactly remember how tall an Indy forge is

My experience was like this I tried what was said to be amazing yet unfinished maps announced by the kings of single player and click bait so I played but next time I would return to the maps my game would crash always so after 8 maps that looked amazing but were completely bugged I just stopped

That's entirely possible, dino/overhauls typically add more usage. Just smaller ones are usually fine.

Guys is there any area in extinction where meteors dont drop? I mean in that biome with corrupted dinos since the place itself looks cool and when it releases on ascended I'd want to make an base in that place without getting obliterated (I will make it in like mid-late game)

Worthless. You'll need a higher saddle for a Megatherium to do that cave on ASA.

Universially. But with 16 mutations on health and 34 in melee once the buff kicks in that Megatherium should be solo clearing the Swamp cave.
