The first 4 story maps have level distributions skewed towards lower levels, regardless of your difficulty settings. You would have to use mods (steam only for ase) or have access to ini files to overwrite the spawns.

generally a verification loop in steam makes your drive is basically dead, but it could be software weirdness. if you open the game properties -> local files -> verify, does it complete the verification, or fail?

you can easily back up your savefiles, then reinstall the game. that is worth trying. if it is still acting corrupted after that, something is very wrong

savefiles and config are in Steam\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved, make a backup of the folders inside it. also a good idea to run the CHKDSK ('check disk') and SFC ('system file checker') windows commands in any situation that suggests corrupt data

Well am on scorched earth and I found there (where the parasaur is detecting something) a phoenix and I searched 5 days for it and after I found it and switched to photo mode so I can make a photo of the phoenix I made a photo and then I tried to switch again back to the game which didn't work so I was infinite in the photo mode. So I clicked back to main menu and again on play single player but then the heat wave was gone and so also the phoenix was gone so I tried to search with the parasaur back for the phoenix at the same location and now its detecting aomething but there is nothing getting marked red so I think its the phoenix.

Heay Guys, just asking for help. Somehow I'm not allowed to create an account on Survivetheark to file a complaint. Tried to sign up in different browsers, but the "Create my Account" doesn't work and at the buttom right, half readable ist the following error message: "This site key is not enabled for the invisible captcha."

Nonetheless, I want to file a complaint for the EU PVE The Island Server 5444, where YAMETE forms a xp party and collects money from people who want to join. They have a YouTube video as well as in Game Chat promotion. Besides the nuisance it creates, they managed to fill the server to the brim and create multiple red error messages like Buffer Errors and drop the Ping so that it is unplayable and sometimes crashes. Maybe somebody here can help. Either by helping with the error, so that I can sign up in the propper way and complain there, or even here directly.

I've had 4 golden eggs for cravings for a single dino once. Its just rng. And sometimes when it asks for double stuff it's glitched and not actually needing the item it says it wants. That's why I say it's best to have multiple of all cravings ready in your inv or storage nearby

Yi Ling is actually a pretty decent cave runner for the island. The cheese is real in the lava cave

This cave is easy if you do the right thing, on the first choke point you can jump and keep going, then try to fall carefully, once you return with the bary make sure you clear the path, keep returning to your bary, if you play on official you will need a 298% shotgun or it won't be easy to kill the bats before the do some serious damage. Take good flak armor, 100 med brews, 1 pod, I usually take 100 shells, you can use antidote but I always counter rabies with at least 400 hp and 2 or 3 meds every time I get rabies

Then once the last wave is clear, they are on the same spot you have to jump with bary, you can go back pod your dino and leave the cave with no issue

Anyone know if Wild Card has addressed the engram issue for unofficial modded servers? Been an issue for a few weeks now, if you have any prior "disabled" type of configurations to mod item engrams, it messes your entire engram list up. It started happening when the archelon saddle was added to the devkit. I was hoping it would be fixed once archelon came out, but it wasn't.

yeah its something in relation to disabling engrams. It will be okay if you say mark all engrams non-disabled at a high level, but the problem with that.... is that its another known issue that if someone's mod updates invalid/improperly and they are able to join the map, it will mess up the order arrangement for modded engrams and say something used to be level 100? now suddenly its at another mod engrams place at level 22, so it really makes things challenging for clusters that kind of progression tier their servers and engrams for balance

I know almost all locations of bees in island. You can get them in the north after you leave redwoods go north just before the beach in front of carnivore island the second best is green orb all area has a lot. But my favorite pick is redwoods forest is filled with beehives, I destroy beehive using argi then let it render out. I then use repelent on me and bird you can do it alone rush to bee using ghillie with rare flowers on your last hotbar slot then its rinse and repeat until you get the prompt to tame it

I typically had challenges with the bee having too much envrionmental aggro. Had to clear the area then move to render limit and back to get a feeding prompt to appear.

On Aberration I just sunk some overweighted feeding-tough fed frogs in the water by the Old Railway cave. Frogs on aggressive, whole bunch of diplocalus on follow and attack my target. I get about 6 to 7 stacks of oil an hour AFK.

Does anyone know if mutations can go above 254/255 in one stat on a tame? I have my Carchas at 254 melee and struggling to get any kind of mut now, even oxygen lol (I have stacked mutable traits so it’s been easy until now)

But you cannot level the Stat anymore beyond 254

I just tested with a 256 points one and I could level the melee. And yep all my fems I use for mutation breeding are clean. I finally got the stat, I was being impatient lol

If so, they change its from Ase then

Because on Ase you cannot level any stat that has more than 254 Base Stats

You shouldn't have a slot between those two. Make sure you've filtered the notes for the island only

the notes are filtered for the island only, I don't know if it's that weird slot or what but the game won't let me 100% the islands explorer notes, I'm assuming because it's there?? 🤔

I was told that it seems you can't pick up 1 note for some reason maybe it's bugged have you tried to restart or you don't even know the location of last missing note?

it's more like the note just.. doesn't seem to exist? like the slot's there, I've written down all the dossiers that I've collected and double checked them on multiple different sources with listed dossiers and locations and whatnot but there's actually nothing missing

They have an issue with level cap I think we can't do anything for the moment except waiting

That sounds really weird, there is no note between gigantopithecus and hespo. You'll need all the available notes to get the +5 levels which means scorched and ab ones too.

I think the hardest are the island all the rest seem doable but I'm not sure about abb maybe notes on radiation zones are harder no?

I will have to try to win tek cave to get all explorer notes so far I'm 90% I think I only need some underwater notes

The only way I can get a slot to show up there is if ab and island notes are selected and I believe its the glowtail dossier
