Honestly, I love the idea of wild dinosaurs having a natural system where carnivores don’t just mindlessly kill everything in sight. (also give them a thirst) I know it would be challenging to implement, but I wish the dinosaurs felt more immersive? (my adhd goin wild)

Maybe they could even take fall damage (excluding flyers for taming purposes), and have more varied animations, different eye colors, and IK it sounds hard idk if even possible but give em some personality?

here is one thing you can try stop the server, force stop it if need be, when it finaaly gives u option.
make anote of all your mods , unsub to them all, save it DO NOT start the server , wait a minute, resub to the mods , save it , wait a minute , then restart server

ughh you shud have two separate batch files for easy , one too update the server , one to start it . i find that the simplest way ,
i.e i use similar to this to update my servers ,
start "" "C:\SteamCMD\steamcmd.exe" +force_install_dir "C:\Arkserver1" +login anonymous +app_update 2430930 validate +quit
you wud need to change the fie paths for where your stmcmd an server is installed
then i use a separate batch file to start the server .

there are ways to do it all in one but its beyond my knowledge, involves using a load extra commands with echo , wait timers etc that i just never looked into .

Start ArkAscendedServer.exe TheIsland_WP?SessionName="my server name" -port=7778 -winlivemaxplayers=10
this is a simple working asa batch file if run from the same location as the .exe
you can then shortcut it to desktop for easy access or you can add the file path to the .exe for it if you know the path
mine acually wud look like start D:\arkserver1\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ArkAscendedServer.exe etc etc etc etc

If it's like past halloween events then there should be coloured dinos (black, orange etc) ghost dinos that when you kill them drop a ghost skin for yours. But the biggest two things are the dodorex and dodowyvern which appear on the island and scorched respectively. You have to hunt them down for rewards, but they only appear on certain nights.

Hp, back in ase they nerfed the hawk retrieval ability by making them not instantly tp back to you. The idea being to make them less risk free, it hangs around for about 20 seconds iirc and takes high damage from guns. So in pvp if somone just yolo's into some turrets they aren't getting their stuff back for free because their hawk will probably die.

Yes wyverns may kill it but if no one is there to render it, it may not matter.

Wyverns have extremely high damage, I'm not sure exactly how much hp they'd need to survive one. I never used them for that personally.

Members of a tribe all do things to generate xp, in asa that is pretty much limited to mass crafting. Everyine there uses xp broth, explorer notes if they have them available and you would tend to do it when there is bonus rates to maximise xp gain. The more people in the tribe, the more xp and everyone gets shared xp so everyone can level up faster. In ase we used to mass breed gigas/carchas and kill the babies for xp parties.

So i just tried to fight Rockwell Prime with mantises

Didn't work, but not because of the mantises!

Main issue was that I kept getting stuck when I would dismount, which left me vulnerable to getting dogpiled by literally everything. And it's a fight that requires a lot of dismounting, so that added up

On top of that, there was a point where the nodes just kept... healing. For no reason. I don't know if they heal while the shields are up or what, but my long ago real shadowmane-based battle didn't seem to have that issue so. idk. Drained my resources, which left me in a really bad state

And then all the little frustrations where it forces you to use the mek, but then constantly CCs the mek and also the mek doesn't actually have enough power to kill the nodes in one shot... It was the weak link in the fight, really. I think if I didn't have to rely on it I could have won.

Any rock that gives stone is good. Green zone emphasizes stone/flint; blue emphasizes metal. With a strong (high dmg) Doed, any rock will be useful.

Uhhhh i was just looking at it 20 min ago it hasnt been mined and cant be mined on ASA the rock is marked as mesh and not a harvestable node. you can harvest the other end side rocks and get into the tunnel that way but its a dead end now. It's not everything else. Best way to think about it is that equiping tek helmet breaks the suits protection but equiping tek chest fixes the bug. If your taking rad, just quickly un-equip and re-equip your chest.

i rly appreciate the tips i rly do, but for my experience in tickets on Ark ascended, I have got no decent results. 3 examples: One chinese caged me and my rhynio and i barely lost rhynio cause of it, they broke the rules in pve server and there was no action against them

exemple 2: there was conflict between two tribes cause one tribe was violating the other tribes space, multiple tickets ware sended nothing happen, and that end up with name calling, lures, killing tames one another and that end up both being ban...

and example 3 the rock drake meshed.....

so a level 150 tame with levels pumped into anything can just stannd in the middle and pick up eggs without moving till its slot capped.

I just level them in food and leave them at low weight and they will have 10k pounds of eggs no problem.

Yeah, I can figure that. The base area I'm taking over looks like the player played about 3 days and then quit. He has practically nothing set up. He has a 6x3 hut that doesn't look like it has anything added to it and only a parasaur and triceratops outside.
