using commands, setting changes or even mods if steam. would allow all the stuff in ASE on pretty much any map.
I assume you mean R-snowls and not normal snowls as those are ext.
them being able to do that is another reason why they were base game. the bob's/pyromane stuff requires the DLC to spawn them as well. only the oasisaur doesn't require the DLC to use after taming. its easier to just not have to seperate parts of dinos that would be the smaller bit (like taming and whatnot) since the asset would be the biggest part which everybody needs.

Light beams on interior loot drops are fixed by changing your Effecys Quality to anything higher than Low. Even at epic everything, the beams weren't showing up on the surface drops.

2 months. you can't transfer over any creature that doesn't have an ab varient or natively spawns on ab.
for dinos from future maps, it matters if they are flyers or not. so a snowl can't go but a gacha can.

My best suggestion is to go into a random server, Cause you get better performance on servers. That is if you dont have one yourself. Start at the low preset. Then move up in the settings till you find a good balance. Post processing if you turn that to low it might help frames. Also disable clouds. And you could try to disable lumen

now that I remember, idk if this matters but when I tried to launch the game and join the server it kept crashing, it said Fatal Error: The UE-ShooterGame Game has crashed and will close, Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading addredd 0x00000218d8358fac, what I did was follow a tutorial and in the game settings on steam, undeer launch options there is a box and I wrote -dx11 and it worked

beehives are just near fertle lake in ASA ab. if the server restarts (or singleplayer relogs) all bees despawn and you have to wait until they spawn again so don't do that.

Organic doesn’t? Achatina snails are a great way to “fridge” Org apply. Their passive production of Org Poly is another buffer against decay, as well as their high weight stat and their 3x decay reduction for org poly.

Depends what you have access to. They’re viable, but they cost Sweet Veggie Cakes to keep alive. And if you have unobstructed access to Skull Island on the Center, it’s a solid place to get high volume of Obsidian. Bring an Argy, they have weight discounts for Obsidian.

If you do get Achatinas, breed em a bit, have a few around, and they’ll slowly accumulate org poly; they’re good for achatina paste, equivalent to cementing paste, as well.

They’ll be born with half of their total food stat, so if you get that high enough, depending your settings, they may breed a few times before they die, in which case you only really need the veggie cakes for the Achatinas you dedicate as “org poly fridges.” And even then, a bit of management, you can just shuffle your stocks to Achatinas that aren’t about to die of starvation

What’s your stack size for org poly? Esp. w/ achatina, 1.5hr per stack, that’s roughly 16 units per 24h. As long as you put in more than 16 units a day, you beat the decay rate. And Achatinas produce Org Poly, so you need even fewer. Arguably none to beat decay rate, at least for one stack.

Also, on the Island, best place for Obsidian is the Volcano — on top and inside, if it’s like the PC version at all.

Do you fully empty them, or just the CP? If just the CP, they won’t respawn. But if you want lots of CP, I’d suggest taking a Megatherium into one of the south caves or Swamp, and get loads of Chitin. Then a Doedicerous for stone, and you’re set. A high level frog can also just directly produce CP in the bug caves, especially the Swamp with its Meganeuria swarms. Not as survivable as the Megatherium though.

Doesn’t sound like you’ve been doing breeding yet — a few kibble tamed high level (130+ Anky’s) will get you good stats when bred together, but yes, if you dedicate one high melee Anky to ALL its xp levels into Melee, that’s the best to pair with a high weight Argy.

Why is single player so bugged?!

I get kicked out of my single player tribe everytime I upload my character off a map. When I download and come back to a map, it spawns me on a beach instead of one of my beds I’ve selected and I have to use admin commands to reclaim all my Dino’s and structures.
Sucks when you have sleeping bags and oil rigs on the map too cause then you have to go find each one and reclaim them.

Now after the last patch update, my bobs tall tales notes aren’t unlocking. Found my last one on scorched earth the other day, but no “cut scene” played and now I can’t find the bobs tall tales notes in my notes tab in my inventory anymore.

Is anyone else having these issues?? I’ve been having the map transfer issue ever since scorched dropped. Went back and forth to a few mod maps with my character just fine before scorched was released. Now I can’t leave a map without it kicking me from my tribe.

So, your tribe information is stored in dedicated .arktribe files in Single Player. SP puts them next to your .ark files for the maps. They only get made when you click 'Create Tribe' to make a new tribe, not when you just spawn in. So if you never renamed your "Tribe of NyRangersfan05" you don't have the correct save files to retain your tribe when you leave the map.

There's a ton of other things that can go wrong too.

The hard part is providing a lot of females and feeding all that and ofc, finding space to house em all. You gonna need some sort of a compact platform the group as many females next to the male

Regardless, my main question is really just about when "enough health is enough" for my Theri's, and when to focus on Melee without worrying about HP, as the Theri's are really only for my Alpha dragon attempt.

While Theris can do all the bosses, you optimize 21k hp for the cake bonus. Keeping veggie cakes in each Therizinosaurus' inventory means they are effectively granted a hit of hp and regen every 30 seconds.

This is quite a low number compared to say, 30k minimal and 50k optimal for equivalent boss HP for Megalosaurus, Spinos or Rexes which are in the same DPS class.

In grinding Alpha Dragon in ASE, ASE modded, ASE with the Manticore + Dragon fight and ASA these numbers worked well for me. While I also only run 120+ armor saddles, the only time I've lost Therizinos is when they go stupid and stand in death lava the whole fight.

I get that. I am a developer too working on a software development company. Not being able to tackle important, but not critical issues usually comes down to clients not wanting to spend time on those or slowing down everything by overloading everyones's calendars with meetings "to get things started" while not allowing the actual working team to research, design and document stuff because the time was spent on meetings. I would rather allow a team that is going to work on something new for them to get some rough requirements and start testing in a sandbox the new technology or feature first, try to make some mockups, and when they are familiar with what is done and methods to do the stuff, then get together and fine tune it with the client.

1- As you mention, Snail Games, known for having really bad management, calls the shots.

2- There is no way everyone is going to be happy: If they dedicate a considerable part of their resources on optimizations, bug fixing and implementing the AI they promised, a lot of people are going to be demanding new maps because "there is not enough content and they rush everything". If they dedicate those resources to release new maps quickly, people will be complaining about getting new maps with the same glitches and same or worse performance.

And this being a game that is always in continuous development of new stuff but it's not subscription based, they have a limited budget to work with and depend on bringing new players constantly, which partially led to the money issues at the end of ASE and the incomplete release of ASA.
Now they are trying to ensure constant income with the DLC, but people don't like that (which is kind of understandable, but the reason they are doing that is also understandable).

Cosmo have Charge Light stat cuz it fire Light-Web projectils, but it do not provide Light on its own
Light Web weakens Namelesses & Reapers, so you can still fight them with a cosmo, but it won't prevent them from spawning

Got the answer on Reddit, in case anyone is interested.

In ASE, all the unique assets were individualized to the maps they used. So you could remove maps without issues arising on other maps for missing assets. But now, in ASA, ALL assets are baked into the base game with the map component just being that, the map that you play on.

In short, we will NEVER be able to remove maps we dont want to play on to save SDD space. We're cooked, 100% to having a 500+ gig install for ASA, once all the maps are done and out. Fcking disgusting.

As if I needed more reasons to revert to ASE, but this one kind of cements it.

We have been here for a several days but this just started last night. We have tons of light pets left on around as well as plant z planted everywhere. Does anyone know of any more methods we could try to get this to stop? They're spawning in the mesh so it's super hard for us to kill them before they break shit. We're on Rep number 3 currently...

I saw one the other day, Ill go look for it again... it was some new Smithy workbench that included ALL the crafting recipes in one workbench, and it allowed Element crafting, and IIRC, it removed the charge battery requirement.

storage only has autowithdrawl button. You will need to put the item in the storage you want him to automate and set the amount of stacks he should put in there. The stacks will show next to the auto withdraw button.
