Normally I do the same thing as Edso. Turn on all the dinos then toggle the male on/off to control breeding.

If you use dino pens for breeding, it can be helpful to keep a male 'control' dino in reach to copy the settings from. The range is really quite large so don't do this if you have turret dinos at your base. They'll start breeding, too.

the problem is not so much the hives as the bees inside get destroyed on a dino wipe but the hives stay , thats how u get dead/empty hives an mutiple hives ontop each other

Using DestroyAll "BeeHive_C" 1 (the 1 is important, as it makes sure player-owned hives don't get destroyed) with each dino wipe makes sure you also get rid of the hives.

thats what i think causes the issue. It wipes hive and bee and when they start coming back into the world they spawn as the bee itself not the hive. if i make it ignore it should be the hive staying spawned with bee (fingers crossed)

You'll more than likely get better information from someone else but in my limited pc experience, you need to run the game through your graphic cards driver as it will attempt to run it on the best settings for your computer, from there tweak the settings a little lower and after that once you're in a server try turning off what you can fog, clouds, foliage (im not sure what settings can be still turned off). The game will look a but disappointing but it may help your pc run better untill they finish optimising Abberation

Variety of things. It forces you to a somewhat differ gameplay. There’s no flying so getting around isn’t easy not to mention the rad zone, this is why I personally like it. It’s more of a challenge. I also think people like the cosmetics & feature that came along with it. Aberrant dinos have 4% less hp but 6% more dmg plus they glow lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't even rank most maps cause I've played so few. Only played a little on The Island, Scorched, and Ragnarok, with a brief smattering of Val and Gen 2 with some more intensive overhaul mods, to those last two sat with more "constant dread and fear" to properly appreciate them. I think I'm in the minority with Scorched being my favorite. There's just something about it when I played it on ASE, and doing it again on ASA with closer to vanilla server settings just made me love it more. And, well, being less popular means I get access to the wyvern trench basically whenever I want. XD

So prior to ASA release, basically every cluster from server search Rag was unanimous the most populated map for a cluster to utilize as a main base.

It just seems like from a business point of view WC is bottle necking their potential player base by not having the most played on map in the game.

The way my tribe plays we don't build on other maps, we focus on our base at Rag and just transfer to other maps for harvesting, taming, etc and go right back to Rag.

Well, Reaper taming is probably a later game thing if this is your first time on the map. Some people will try to rush day 1 because it's pretty much the Endgame tame for that map. Same for Rockdrake egg stealing.

In both cases, getting even an absolutely trash tame will out perform anything else and radically change how you play.

Compared to Wyvern egg stealing, Rockdrake egg stealing is like the difference between a preschool slap fight and a prison bar brawl. You might want to try the oviraptor egg stealing trick.

Ravagers are unique to Aberration. They have raptor pack bonuses, their own unique bleed mechanism and get insanely good weight reduction on materials. Add in that they can use the ziplines while moving in packs and you have a really deadly combination.

Really you need to decide if you want to run Ravagers or Basilisks for bulk item transport. Assuming you aren't using the new Bob's Tall Tails chests and Karkinos held harvesting tames.

On other maps, the Basilisk is kind of king for storage and transport until Gasbags are available on Extinction.

Specific mushrooms in the patches cause it. You can prevent it by eating the brown mushrooms. The Aquatic 'blue' ones stop the freezing.

You need a really beefy pc to run ark survival ascended, and even then there are a lot of problems, if you want you should probably get survival evolved, though there are not any official servers and not any of the new creatures either

Ascended can also work, and there are a lot of modded maps and cool premium mods, but the game is kind of hard to run, though you can run it pretty well on a 2060 or higher graphics card

I run a 2060 and i can run the game on high, just turn foliage to low and post processing as well, the rest o medium and enter a few commands and it looks much better than ase, also have decent frames, mostly above 40 and really good frames on scorched for some reason

The BTT cosmetics have alternatives like glass, jail or others. You need to make the cosmetic 'wall' item then apply freely.

But if you want the effect of something like Greenhouse Bonus or Adobe insulation, you need to actually use those and not just random thatch parts.

The alternative modes like glass are accessed just like you would access the alternative types for basic items like wall vs door vs double doorway.

That isnt what is happening. It downloads the patch and is patching the game so if you look alot of times it says patching 53 of 128gbs and it goes uo. That is not downloading it again. Of it did your hardrive would fill fast

Wow, the Yi Ling may have the worst taming method I have ever seen. It takes ages to get it to dive bomb, and it dives so quickly if you are not literally perfect its a fail, and the torpor will drain to 0 before you even get another dive to happen

Either some pvp players with tek are horrible or Plant Z fruits are extrememly op. I managed to get away from a full tek guy on FOOT. Not only I was chased by him, but the Yi Lings kept shooting me down when I tried to glide away. And then the Plant Z fruits saved the day. I first blinded the player and then 2 of the wild Yi Lings while I was escaping to the blue zone.

If you are on a mount sometimes it gets bugged and wont grab you, once you dismount it should work. Also if there are pillars in its way sometimes it wont be able to do the grab
