I’d say having a game with clear support being in early access and are adding new content on the regular to draw near to the full release is fine but then a game feels like it’s 100% done but is buggy as high hell and is labeled that? That’s not okay, that’s scummy

I'm not arguing one way or the other for it, just stating how a lot of reviewers felt expressed through their reviews. Like I said early access paid DLC is pretty common now a days, not so much when SE came out, I would consider Ark one of the few games that showed what a company could do with early access

Best bet, plan for later in the evening, go to work/school, take care of any obligations you may have and free up your evening, too many gamers take full days off to sit around and wait, then work themselves into a frenzy when they wasted the day

It’s rare even for wildcard to delay on the launch day. So there’s atleast small hope they’ll give it to us. It’s likely to happen tho but it’s just gonna be a waiting game if anything

I had every plan to do it in order as well, but with the breaks that myself and tribemates took up until this point we are kind of behind, especially since my unofficial server shut down and I had to start anew the other week. But I found a nice new near official rates server with plans to only allow character transfers and no items/dinos the first month or two, so I'm going to have to skip ahead and make an exception for abb. Because if you didn't get a chance to play it during launch for SE, there is something special about starting abb the same time the rest of your server does and everyone is working their way through the map. Since it's the only real linear progression map

If you used the taming trackers in both you can get numbers. The ASA maps are around 20% bigger in 'size' based on the in-game coordinates. Like, green ob to the wyvern trench is 5.2km in ASA compared to the ~3km in ASE.

To be fair, you had to do two Rock Drake leaps because of the mountain spine in the middle of the Red Obelisk surface on Ab. But still, the areas were small.

Also, I may have spent a wee bit too much time farming drops on Ab in ASE...

That’s still a stupid thing to do if it wasn’t built to be on aberration. The theming of these are meant to fit their map, the train was meant for scorched, the blimp will fit mostly on aberration but can work on other maps since it is a blimp

But it’s also likely the blimp will solely take gas balls as fuel as well so it regulates it to aberration
