That's the kind of thing to expect when game starts to run out of RAM or VRAM. So check system resources and all. If you have more than a few people playing then a dedicated server is probably the way to go.

Honest question: Has arranging items by spoil time ever worked? Or am I simply using it wrong. For example, if I have a creature with... idk, 50 prime meats on its inventory and I click the icon to order them by spoil time, I always see them in random order: The first one with 10min from spoiling, the next one 11min, the next one 5min, the next one 20min and so on...

Drop fertilized eggs at a safe distance from the nest, when the parent is eating, enter the nest and imitate the baby

If you do it right you will gain taming and progression, if you are on single player using buffed taming should be 1 or 2 times

Beware that the parent is very aggressive. If you own 1 gigantoraptor you can take the parent make the call but if the baby level is higher than your tame you might not be able to claim the baby

hi guys Since last month update single player with mods crashed ad startup, then i removed the mods, but now i noticed that when i leave an area via fly mode my gpu usage drops from the usual 99 to 60/70 with a consequencial massive loss in FPS, i noticed that this doesnt happen if i remove preventhibernation OR remove foliage and fluid interaction, i know that happened to other ppl, did u guys know if today patch fixed it?

this is the second time it happens... everything freezes, and the only way to get out of it is by restarting my pc, but then i cannot connect to my friends world anymore and it always says "connection to host lost", last time it got fixed by reinstalling the game, but is there another faster fix?

Not sure if we get metal from normal rocks anymore at all. The river rocks should get you small amount enough to build smithy and trough or whatever.

Why don't we have official ORP servers on ASA 😦 it brought so many players to the game and made it conceivable to play PVP long term

On cluster I started with ORP because it just makes sense. But then when SE came I decide to do mixed cluster, where island is PvE and SE is PvP. I know why others don't do it but it makes sense to me still, because of the way ORP makes PvP more approachable, and mixed cluster has the same effect.

I have always appreciated games that let you go back and forth between PvE and PvP and do not force you into it. I'd love to see Ark try this at some point even on a small closed cluster (like the old crossarks). I try only to look for some balance where people want to go to PvP for more resources.

Chitin is probably easier to get. Killing turtles for keratin sounds awful, but maybe with wolf or something could be okay. Beaver dams are pretty good for cementing paste if that is what you are really after.

for asa server, the only options are using nitrado or setting up your own personally hosted server

The only work around there you're going to find is, renting the equipment. You're left to do all the setup yourself, same as if you were setting up at home.

I am having an issue in SP Island where resources are not respawning. I have read you have to leave your tile but then I read that the Island is only one tile. So what do you do in SP when the resources are not respawning at any interval?

What tile? You can render out for example for water reservoir fill up on ase and a couple of things to change but what matters is how much you have in settings.

Idk what you mean about the single tile stuff. But all those distances are measured in UE units. I think it's like 800 units is 1 foundation or something like this, I don't know the exact numbers.

I have heard that vanilla respawn is from 35 minutes to 48, if it doesnt respawn you have a problem and imo is on settings that were changed

I need help after coming back to singleplayer after a month my fps dropped to 10-14fps. I thought the game was a mess now but went to SE and 35-40fps. I'm going to be honest, I just really, really hate any map where traversing across the ocean is a requirement.

Lost island and the Center have massive oceans, sure. But they each only have 1 major land mass that can't be accessed by land. Even the center has an out-of-the-way land bridge connecting the mainland to the Redwoods.

Fjordur though? God this map sucks to navigate without a flier or amphibious mount. Maybe I'm slightly biased becuase the server I'm on disabled the legally-distinct HLNA teleportation. But the fact that was needed at all says everything IMO

It’ll be noon/night/morning for EU and elsewhere.
And you can bet that, even if they won’t delay it by days, they will launch it super super late for US too, so it’ll be like 3am for EU on Thursday

Yea that long pearl cave, super narrow entrance, like a natural bridge inside the cave over water, and it’s entrance is on the north-ish west side of lava island on land, and has a lot of pearls in it. Really strong for Defence, even more so with cryo change now I guess
On island all pearl caves are UW entrances

Could look up where it is on ASE, but with ASA island they changed cave entrances around a bit.
They might even change the entrance to make it more open, who knows they said they’ll cbange caves and did so for lava cave e.g. on island so don’t 100% rely on it

Probs 10-20 per NA/Eu or so and then maybe more if demand is high.
But snow north and pearl will probably get rushed quickly, and that double entrance bear cave, so depending on your luck, amount of tribemenbers and skill, it could get heated at the caves fast xD
