But yeah just be very alert on scorched, it definitely tests you more then the island does with how you handle yourself early game but once you get an argy you’re ready to start exploring fully if you got full desert cloth just… don’t go into the dunes unless you’re for sure ready

Yeah that’s a bit low, that makes sense, if possible aim for one over lvl 100, they have better stamina normally unless you get really unlucky

Another good land tame is a saber or a thyla, thylas are a lot more risky tho so unless you’re ready with a lot of tranqs save thyla taming for the mid game unless you see a high lvl

Hey all I found a mod that is for sure crashing the servers. Colosusscorpius Mod. We have them in the cryofridges.... its the only dino that is in both fridges that crash game when we try to access. I did ragnarok beta to get the transmitter tekgram, then ab to get the tekrams, then after I got some gigas and wyverns I went to extinction to fully unlock the tek suit. The center was easy, then I kept doing the others, some just to get the wolf like in Fjordur, others to get the tekgrams

peak speed depends on if the software is able to keep up with the data processing, which for a copy operation is extremely easy

speed normally depends on what type of NAND (or DRAM) the writes are being made to. writing to QLC is slow as hell, TLC is much higher, but still slower than SLC/DRAM cache

if it is a decent drive, it is TLC + large cache

We’re on fiber craft PvP server
Unofficial obviously and we have a few modded dinos like the acro for example that can take out metal and tek while in shield stance can pretty much wipe towers with a few strikes most times / so we have a higher turrent damage that counters that how ever the only issue we’ve come across is those who build under water really isn’t too many ways to hit em with the amount of turrents that can be placed on our server you can’t really drain turrents as we have means to make lots of ammunition very very quickly , and they stack higher so for water bases your kinda resorted to stego running with melee bobs or rockets or tek saddles but even then it all can take a while….. so was just wondering for anyone that’s ran private servers if there’s any Dino mods for underwater creatures that damages metal or tek structures …..

I see what Wildcard screwed up in the updates.. my 7900 XTX is only sitting at 60% utilization, and I'm getting 22 fps.. but when i go into the Settings Menu, the GPU utilzation jumps to 100% (where it should be), and the fps counter shows 55 fps.. as soon as I exit the settings to resume the game, the GPU Utilization drops again and so does the FPS..

What I have seen worked for many people (including me) was performing a dino wipe, which seems weird.

My 7800 XT was stuck at around 1600mhz and 13fps. I had reverted the game to a previous version. Some people reported the dino wipe workaround, I tested it yesterday after updating the game once more and it took me back to 50-650fps and full GPU utilization.

Btw, I haven't played for long since that update, but it seems to me like with it and the latest drivers, AFMF is working way better on ASA.

Is anyone able to help with a reinstall loop please? My finacee's game is updating the entire game even though all her ark files (126GB) are still there in the game's directory...
We've tried restarting the system, closing steam client through task manager, running as admin, verifying game files, clearing download cache, trying to boot from the shootergame.exe as admin, checking steam has identified the right path for the game, checked the drive for issues, ensured enough space on the drive (450GB on a samsung evo m.2 1TB SSD.

My frames are still OK, the island seems to have repopulated at this point. However, disabling foliage and fluid interactions did increase my FPS considerably. I am now running the game at around 70FPS.

It's not cheating bro, if you are on ase, you don't have much options since they ended official @dull falcon The issue is that imo dino wipe might make your problem worst. It's an option that has become popular but imo it's a terrible choice. But I'm eager to know if it works. I hope you can tell me your feedback. I play on official asa but I enjoy ase so I'm also on single player ase using weekend rates.

Dinos stop spawning after they did dino wipe so they kept doing it and nothing worked, they ended up using codes to spawn them

I've noticed on Xbox that after 8 to 16 hours of play on ASA non-dedicated that it keeps crashing, and I'm forced to delete all single player saves and start from scratch. I'm literally forced to rent a Nitrado unofficial server at this point if I wanna keep my saved progress, or I'll always deal with this problem. Kinda sucks ass at this point.
