Anyway it’s a reskinned Giga with similar capabilities and stats. It’s faster but not necessarily more powerful bite for bite. Same category though. I only have limited knowledge on it so others may be better to assist.

Doesn't matter which one you start it from. I'm not sure about wyverns actually whether they can go in or not on rag, usually people would run it with theri's or rexes. The dragon on rag is a nerfed version conpared to the island.

They'd still struggle in gen 1 alpha boss. I've done it solo but it took 3 tries and was ROUGH. I lost 5 melee capped rexs as well (124 saddles). The problem is your dinos aren't fighting the boss, they are fighting waves of summons and infinite adds at the end. Those adds have gigas and reapers amongst them. The time limit is so harsh and you have to do it on foot in all this. Honestly if it wasn't for move speed being a thing, I couldn't have done it.

Gen 1 is kind of shock to the system compared to the previous maps. The missions have some insanely op stuff in them. I'm sure all the old school players remember "hunting by moonlight".

I understand the way the boss fight was made, I am not sure if they made it even harder, but what I know is that for a group of players can be an interesting boss fight but to a solo player on official as it was on 2023 it was insanely hard. Another issue was the mission with the spaceship on gen 2, on that I could confirm they not only made it harder, it was also bugged and absolutely unplayable unless you used keyboard and mouse.

I got to the last stage but it wasn't possible, both single player and official but with no buffs, it wasn't possible, in the last stage you would be hit with everything, laser, reaper gigas and you also had several things affecting you for example healing brews didn't worked, You needed time to change armor, heal etç and it was simply impossible.

All videos on youtube were made in single player with buff settings

At least the majority that I have watched, while others were using tricks to bring gigas, entire teams with 10 people etç 😄

Which mission do you mean? I did everything you could do solo on ase official, but some things were hard. The worst mission for me out of any in the game was alpha downriver run. The timer meant there was no room for error at all and the inconsistent damage on that blasted canoe. That one took me 50 tries, once I got my route down I could repeat it but not everytime. Plugging in a k&m helped alot.

Since they will all be rexes, does it make sense to have them in different whistle groups for a boss fight? If so, what strategy to split them up?

the stance doesnt really matter unless you're fighting off dinos while waiting to start the boss, once your inside its just going to be a matter of whistling them to attack the boss specifically so they dont try to attack the extra stuff instead

so start passive at the wait, bait the boss in to fight, whistle attack this target at the boss and let them bite to their hearts content

Oh yeah star dolphin, that was awful on controller. I managed to do gamna on controller and that was more luck than judgement getting through the corridor sections. I had to plug a k&m in for alpha. But that one was brutal because of the high point requirements to progress.

Then you can hatch the egg, I usually use 12 torches

At night egg will be colder

if thats the case, then scope out the area first without being noticed by one, find an egg you like, perch youself on to get the stamina back, then go for it when the are no wyverns nearby

Should run fine. Its still not overly optimized . The only botleneck will be the 9400 . At low to medium with a few tweaks run fairly smooth. Unless on official then wont matter.on those lag fests

For wyverns you need to steal their eggs from trenches, you need a fast flier like a ptera or tape cuz theyre fast. Rock golems need explosives to be kncocked out, they eat stuff like rocks and sulfur

I reccomend using a canon for the rock golems cuz rpg could take too much hp

Or just use a tek mech if u have one

Won't happen. ASE uses steam workshop, ASA uses curseforge and has an ingame mod list. They're uploaded differently, plus two separate engines. Modders would have to make separate uploads, one to steam for ASE and one to curseforge for ASA.

My expectations for Wildcards are lower than my little finger anyway, because every time they announced something they canceled it within seconds, so you can't expect anything more or less, you can only hope that it gets better and it finally works, stick to your own contracts that you wrote yourself. The game itself is great and super addictive too. But as I said, I think there is a certain level of transparency when it comes to certain information on the Internet. That doesn't always work out well. Primitive+ was one of the first expansions in ASE that was a mod import, and it failed spectacularly - was abandoned nearly completely

well idk if the constant game crashing is still an issue, cuz i got some crystal in a loot crate and realized it wasn't stacking super high from my mod, because i didnt have the mod, so i exited my world, downloaded a item stacking mod and went back in. I came back to my base and when i accessed an oasisoars inventory the game then crashed
