I don't know if maybe wildcards plan for solo players is to make them pirate an earlier version of the game because they mess with the only things that got interest for, graphics in asa

can fit through most and if bred up with good saddles can easily handle the easier caves

You need a passive mod to start the server or it crashes. So I have LA in the mods list as active and passive.

It’s either that or no mods at all and my server members would lynch me if I removed the other mods.

So, how does one clear Cavern of lost Faith? I went in there last night with a Mosa with about 600% melee damage and about 41,000 HP and immediately turned around.

I decided to enter admin mode because I wanted to scope it out since I came so far. To my surprise, there were about 800-1000 Megalodon in there ranging from Lv. 5 to 300.. about 12 Alpha Meg's lv 200-300, and another Mosa around Lv. 200, with probably 50-100 Eel.

Needless the say the artifact was the way in the back, on the sea floor, dead in the middle of everything.

Start with stone tools. Make yourself a forge. Smelt metal. Make metal tools. Look in drops. Tame a doedicurus.

There’s no easy shortcuts unless somebody can give you something.

Aside from all the possible bugs and issues, even if they said “they have no plans currently” a while back it is not far fetched to imagine that official will receive the “legacy”/wipe treatment it received back on ASE when it reaches 1.0. Obviously nobody here has a crystal ball and it is impossible to know for sure.
What you could do would be wait until “release”, the game will be more stable then, have more content and whether they did or didn’t wipe/legacy the server wouldn’t affect you

Losing progress is inevitably part of Ark one way or another, but for official PvE this would be the route with less risk imo
