I think your misunderstanding the whole ASA idea, the reason ASA was made is to give the devs a better insight on UE5. (and obviously the whole money thing) The idea was to train the devs on UE5, the games bugs, performance issues. Everything they learn in ASA, all the data, and knowledge is going to be used on ARK 2, if it ever releases. We are technically lab rats for their experiment.

At this point do you really think Ark 2 will bring anything graphically new? all the graphics will be the same, its just going to be different maps, with probably no TEK, more new dinos etc. This is just a trial game, your constant logging into the servers is data for Wildcard, they are using every server crash, every bug, every opportunity to gather all the necessary data they need. While also building up their data base of dinos. Do you think Ark 2 will bring a more better version of the dinos that we already see in ASA? Nope, they will be exactly the same. Currently you are just buying into the idea of Ark 2, which will prolly be released in 2027.

I like to look at it as exponential growth when it comes to gaming, once theyve mastered a bunch of map releases, the rest come out faster. I dont expect them to take longer for aberration or extinction, after SE. Since most of the dinos will technically be copied and pasted, and only a handful of new dinos will be considered as "New". The only thing left for them to complete would be just the map design, but since its copied and pasted from ASE, I dont see the reason for any further delays

I am on single player. Trying to do bosses for the first time and told they are adjusted to be easier for single. I went ahead to broodmother on easy. Well I got swarmed by level 400 spiders and the mother was reduced to somewhere around 80%-90% hp by the end of the fight.

I had a bunch of allosaurus at medium levels like 70 up to 110. I can clear the entire isalnd with them but not do much to the boss.

Wanted to ask if that is normal for single player. Level 400 of swarm sounds a bit much.

Two tribes on my server have built them big enough and they are really big. I did at one point but I hated the ugly thing so I tore it down and just use a little trap and can still get multiple dinos poked.

That's always a risk but part of the fun for me! The way I get round that is that my trap is actually near my base, no where near the spawn. So the area is a bit safer, they are really easy to kite to it and are pretty quick. Then i've also got some foundations out to clear the immediate area and a single turret which is set to shoot anything not a rhynio. Works pretty good, out of 3 bugs I pulledin the last 2 days I've gotten 7 new ones as one of them did decide to take on a 150 paracer after poking one dino. Usually I do about 3 or 4 per bug.

My tribe has a big bug trap and it works flawlessly. Had 2 145s trapped at the same time and got around 14 brontos preggers in no time. They were pregnant before we could even walk a new one to the door. Had them trapped for hours getting people on the server bugs.

I love Ark but ascended has become so frustrating on both console and pc. I play by myself and on pc a few weeks ago I lost all my saves and the game just didn’t run well even on a 3070 so I decided to get it on console and it was a smoother experience but about a week ago the game just stopped saving my progress and when I would turn it off and turn it back on instead of spawning me where I last turned off the game at it’s been spawning me mid air and literally dropping me to my death or near death in random locations all over the map. I love this game but I’m so frustrated at this point I’m just done putting myself through it trying to play it.

Set that to however high you want ( I recomend below 10) but the higher it is the higher you will have to boost your weight stat
Taming:
I personally have this set to high, the only thing it does is change taming speed which I dislike waiting for. (Does not change taming effectiveness)
Breeding:
Completely up to you, but the vanilla settings are insane and it can take months to do mutations

It turns out that my brother had changed the settings on his account and they transferred over to my world. I changed the settings back, and they changed on his account too. We're both playing single player on different worlds and accounts, but the same console. I saw other people online with the same problem, but no solution.

Depends very much on what game mode you're going to be playing. If singleplayer, I'd say so; most stable game mode from what I'm able to tell. If servers...if not unofficial, you're better off waiting. Officials aren't stable lately.

Console commands should affect on both; there's no (modless) option to "enable/disable" specific console commands

It's a major version update. Server list hides servers on lower major versions, meaning all unofficials who aren't updated. And when I run the updater, it isn't getting the latest patch. So....yay Wildcard.
