The problem is that in the world of software development, the release dates don't depend on the development team, it usually depends on the product managers or an executive team. The devs know they need more time and will probably miss those deadlines, but the non-technical people don't get that and will push whatever they want in order to please their bosses... and when the deadline is missed they just need to blame the developers.

Have you tried using frame generation? I don't know how well it works for Nvidia. I am currently using Fluid Motion Frames on AMD, and since the latest driver was released it has been working wonderfully for me with a RX 6700 XT, which is weaker than a 4070. I usually go betweek 80 to 120fps.

I get you. I did the same. I got the 6700 XT about 6 months before ASA was released. I basically bought it so that I could play ASE at epic settings without issues since the card is overkill for almost any game at 1080p.

Being honest, the 4070 in a normal situation should be able to handle 99% of games out there easily. The problem is that since we had a big jump in performance in the last 3 years, now the game studios started throwing out ports that are even worse optimized than ever on PC.

A few years ago a RTX 2080 could run everything with ease at 1080p or 1440p. When the 3080 was released, magically the newer games started requiring RTX 3070 levels of performance to run decently (and if I recall correctly, the 3070 was as powerful as the 2080 super, I may be wrong).

I actually just canceled my nitrado server. I had an older laptop running around that is now my ark server. I don't recommend Nitrado to anyone. You can buy an old pc and host your own server cheaper than Nitrado. You only need a 3gig processor with minium 2 cores, no video card requirements, a 1 terabyte ssd, and 16 gigs or more of Ram, depending on how many servers you plan on running. I won't ever rent a Nitrado server for any game ever again I think their overpriced and servers are crap which is me being nice. It stinks badly that they have the exclusive deal for server hosting for ASA.

There's no way to extend. However, the tek generator has a massive range compared to the regular electrical generator, and can run for a long time. A single alpha megapithecus fight can power the thing for like 5 months

Very little content that is available in the original is in the remake.

Have you cleaned out your Steam download cache? If not, do that. If so, then all I can think of is clean reinstall, making sure it's installed on an SSD and not an HDD.

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache button

You'll be logged out, then you'll log back in, and HOPEFULLY, that'll clear out the bad bits that are holding you up from joining properly. If not, all I can think of is clean reinstall, etc. etc.

it helps with the fps alot without making the game look to bad even on a 4070 ti with medium settings some situations i get under 50 fps but with those off i can play on high with most of the time 90 + fps

So a friend of mine tamed a wyvern, this thing of course takes ages to hatch and mature. Thing is, this guy claimed the small friends-only server we play on kept crashing at one point and when it came back online his baby wyvern was fully grown.

Deino by far. Like wyvern eggs you can just leave them on breeding and the eggs wont die (for 7 days due to spoil time). You can forget them in the corner of your base

sadly no point in the non fert egggs from deinos as they are raptor eggs for some reason. You make up for it by creating tons of deinos in a small space

use an egg inc at the start to check gender. Keep males for kibble and females for more eggs

if its pvp loads of deinos are great for suicide runs or bleeding while defending so loads of throw away use. You dont really need as many yutis as you never really need to be throwing them away on purpose

am I right in thinking that with a carcha having a 70 something saddle, fully imprinted to me with somewhere just over 30k HP and currently somewhere over 210% dmg, and a high amount of bloodlust stacks, should be able to defeat a titanosaur even if it means I periodically leave the fight to kill something in order to maintain the stacks or allow HP to regenerate a little? I tried this on single player with a slightly worse carcha and it survived at least, using official settings. However it doesn't have the possible lag that official has

yep even a low carcha on 100stack can easily kill titanosaur.

Probably the ice cave, since killing wolves and stuff gives pelt. You can also sub hair and wool for pelt, so you can get a bunch of you get sheeps

Coming back to my problem with the appearance of bee hives, I checked on another map (with the same settings as before) whether bees would also appear after destroying many hives.
It turned out that the bees appeared right away and every time I took honey or hit a bee hive, it probably meant that everything could have been fine in that first world, but I was unlucky and destroyed too few hives or there was a world error. Now, if I don't have any hives there, try speeding up the game with the command (slomo, e.g. 10) and see the effect after 10 or 15 minutes? If there is still no hive nearby, I will use an earlier save of the game that I saved on disk.

Anyone know to to fix explorer notes disappearing and my map resetting on xbox official servers? SP has been fine but servers are horrible...I wish that they would address Nitrado and try to get other hosts available because Nitrado has dated machines and also have stated they are running out of resources!
I would think legally if something is not done to fix the issue it could defame the name of the IP...the ping issues and performance of most servers is getting real bad. I am actually considering quitting Ark entirely because of it...
