It basically boosts a lot of settings. I think the most noteworthy is that it makes tames ridiculously strong. You can keep it on if you like, but it's essentially arks equivalent of easy mode.

no. it doesnt render at your screens native resolution.

dlss renders your native resolution then upscales it.

resolution scale just renders at a smaller resolution. so 70% would be like 1280 x 900 to that effect.

also note dlss and frame generation is causing alot of crashes. so be careful using them

Ok so I have a red that had 11.2k hp when tamed and like 350 Melee, I got an hp and Melee mutation so now it pops with 11.8k hp and 366 Melee, i want 2 merge mine an ally of mine Rex line bcuz he has 11.4k hp on Tame and 408 Melee with 1 mutation, is it possible for me 2 breed my 11.2k hp 1 mutation and 366 Melee 1 mutation with his 11.4k hp 0 mutation and 408 Melee 1 mutation and merge all stats so that the new baby pops with 11.4k with 1 mutation so it has 12k hp and 408 Melee with my Melee mutation so it pops with like 420 Melee? Is this possible to put all mutations and better stats into 1 Rex? I've popped 2 eggs and they jus keep getting my 11.8k 366 melee

Hey, looking to get some opinions on something. There's a suggestion to even out the red/yellow supply crate drop frequency across the map - so that everyone gets a fair chance at rare drops. There are two conflicting opinions:

• Those already setup in the North essentially "gatekeeping" (strong word, can't find the right word sorry) the red/yellow drops
• The yellow/red supply crates in the North are harder to loot, though late game it doesn't really matter
• Those who built in the North have a harder time defending their base from aggressive dinos, so they believe they deserve more red supply crates than those who built in the south
• Those in the South argue that they aren't seeing enough yellow/red supply crates in the South when compared to those in the snow mentioning ascendant loot

Then there's the issue of on the new map, everyone clustering their bases too close to each other so they have a higher chance of noticing yellow/red supply crates near them. Which we don't want everyone clustering up in the hard area.

loading a single player save that has used either paleo ark or ark additions causes the save to crash. i can start the save, but quitting and reloading causes a guaranteed crash.
i've verified file integrity and deleted and redownloaded the mods but it still crashes. any tips?

the save isnt corrupted i think, as i uninstalled all the mods when this happened before and could load in. i could then re-enable the mods and be able to load back in but all the modded dinos would be gone at that point

Personally I’ve been working with them since ‘15 and had no issues. The endless loop on update existed on SE too

Back when lost island came out there was an endless loop update too, it’s usually caused by ini entries missing

I don’t have my ascended server active at the moment so id suggest giving it some time

I do admit, since Nitrado is the “official” server for Ark ascended their website went down quite a lot

nitrado is only providing the server files, the update comes from the devs

He made it from herbivour island over to the lagoon near Carno island with no tames. Yesterday he tamed a 225 beaver and argy (pretty sure you can only get 224 unless you force tame).
