Any chance we can convince the Devs that PvE servers should be able to use the grass command to get rid of grass? There is not advantage against players in this situation, on PVE. The Tall Grass makes maganging dinos difficult in large bases, especially the babies since the grass seems to render right through them and we sometimes lose where they are. Opinions?

You should look up the app or webpage ‘Dododex’ if you’re gonna learn about ark, it’s a VERY detailed game. You have to knock out dino’s with a wooden club, tranquilizers, or other methods to then render it unconscious and you give it food to live on while it’s unconscious and when it wakes up it’s tamed and trusts you

OK! I really, really need some logical input on build limitations. Because its making no sense. Could a Dev chime in? We were not at build limit. Suddenly we are. But the build limitation is constrained to our center structure which hasn't changed in over a week. We've built things around said structure but when I go outside the central core towards the other structures everything goes green and I can place things. Inside the core structure, half of its unchangeable / over limit. So how exactly do the limits work? I know its in a general area yet the only thing that could influence the limit is 15 or so foundations away and the limit doesn't apply at said point. @viral shore @heavy cedar

The way the building works: go to your trough and select the option on it to show it's range. That new range circle around it is a circle every structure has, but much, much larger, and invisible. This circle is what counts towards the build limit. When these circles overlap, that overlapped area has 2 structure going towards the build limit for just that overlap area. Eventually, so many things overlap that this small area in the middle of them where all their circles overlap hits the build limit and can no longer be built on and it slowly grows like a cancer as you build around it until it's eventually big enough for you to notice. That's why it's best to start from the middle of your base and build out. If you're having issues, remove some pieces a few foundations away from the non-build area so you can start building in that spot again, then when you've finished it, replace the pieces you picked up earlier that should be outside of the no-build area

Right, but now you want to add more to it and that's how you noticed, correct? Well, then now you are starting to build back in the center. You have to completely finish the center before building out if you plan for large builds. So remove things about 20-30 foundations away from it, complete it, then add those back. Could be a few dozen structures, could be hundreds, just depends how long it took you to notice the no-build spot

Yeah, let's say the structure limit is 1k. That could've been from you having, 999 structures overlapping a large area because they're somewhat near to each other (near being within 20-30 foundations), and the second you place that 1000th one, now there is this super large no build area that comes out of nowhere that feels like it's 30x30 in size. That's what happens. You have to remove further away pieces that are far outside the no-build area but still attributing to it, then fix your stuff and replace those picked up pieces

Dino mods messes up the natural world of ark. Like certain Dino’s will stop spawning and Ark start spam summoning more carnivores or what ever to get rid of the modded dino if it can’t it’ll summon alphas and it’s just gets messy
