so 1 male with 100 mutes can pass them on to the clean females to possible get 102. with 20 clean femals thats 20x chances

Hi, I'm a new player trying to understand mutations. So, mutations have the same value as base stats? In other words, a dino starting at 20 points in HP mutated to 30 is the same as a dino that started with 30? Meaning the reason people look for high-level tames before starting to breed is to save time, not because it permanently affects the outcome? Thanks for any insight!

mutations are more levels focused in specific stats by 2 points per. they do this couse its basicaly free levels and tamed dinos can only get max level based on its wild/baby levels

in ASA, you can start the mutations before getting good base stats as they are seperate now.

I'm not sure if they've changed the amount they give yet but its possible now too

i think the max a dino can gain after being born or tames is 80 level. and those levels are all the same. example if you have a level 10 rex it might need 100xp to get its forst level and a level 400 rex will also need 100xp to gain its forst level

If you are hitting x to join the last session I can see that causing issues sometimes. But I assume you’ve tried both ways. You may be crashing due to server overload…if you the game lets you in I would use the DestroyWildDinos command before you log off to ensure your save has enough room

compared to the 100 or so "player" ones when the option is ticked
if your server is good enough you won't really need to worry about competing against 10,000 others if your rep is better than theirs
