I've not had that problem with the mod I use. I just throw a bunch of eggs in front of the aircon. Terminal picks them up. And I search for the levels I need.

Nvidia control panel now has a global setting for "Virtual Reality Frame Generation". You can enable frame generation in global settings even though Ark states "Frame Generation Not Supported". It makes a HUGE difference.

I run an unofficial server with mods and i have turkey trial on it but turkeys are not spawning at all, anywhere. I tried wiping all dinos to see if that would help, it didnt. I put turkey trial first in the mods list thinking if it loaded first maybe the turkeys would spawn. The only thing I think could be left as an issue is that I also have primal chaos as a mod and the beta/alpha dodos are spawning in place of the turkeys. I I found gates (stone in my case) could not be placed if I put the gateway on too steep a slope. The ground itself blocked the gate placement. I had to use fence supports and walls instead.

I'm not home to be able to see for myself, but going off of the chirpers in #general , sounds like WC went to remove the TT mod from the game or something but didn't remove the requirement to have the mod in order to join the server, or something similar to that, so there's some mismatch issue

But some people are getting in, which makes me wonder if their versions of the game didn't get TT removed. Maybe they're in PvE and it's Win10 players and WC forgot about them

pay attention to your surroundings, you can loot drops before eels get close..just be really watchful. they hide in the walls of the caves and will jump out. If you aggro stuff and then swim away, you can kite it a bit away from the drop to return and pick

i'd avoid tusos as they're buggy atm and get stuck in the walls of the map, get stuck in rocks, etc. They also have the issue in both asa/ase where things like dunkles, megalodons, eels, and mantas can get very close to you, a giant swarm, and the tuso attack cannot hit them.

i went with 3 basilos but the 2 basilos just don't attack anything like they are hard stuck passive

Mosa or basilo are a better option, but basilo can bug in a laggy server and their attacks will miss

dinos in AI combat are terrible. Very slow attack speed...almost so slow its useless

Taking any dinos with you as a pack and relying on their AI for combat is going to likely result in them dying

tuso CAN work, but you should start attacking before they get even close

start to tentacle slap stuff and let it come to you

still, i wouldnt suggest taking a tuso inside solo. If you get stuck, that can be a really bad day. If you have 1 friend with you, its a lot safer. If no friends online, IMO, stick with basilo.

Np! I was surprised that sarco was the best option as well tbh, as I have never used them for anything(i like them.but the suck in combat..) IMO if you plan to use a sarco to farm the caves, tame multiple. Eventually that sarco will die, you will lose the saddle. it only takes 1 jelly to dismount or one eel to hit you while you're looting a drop

It has nothing to do with the state of the game, but the state of the servers. The server are a total shitshow. you can have a 5k computer that nasa would be envious of, and it will still run like shit when you play ark on official servers lol

Mine are pvp idk what difference that would make. But mine runs fine. Only bug that has been annoying was the floating babies outside that it’s a bunch of minor little bugs which have been slowly getting fixed. Every game has always had bugs at launch and throughout the whole history of the game. I do know server tame cap is messed up on pve cause y’all don’t have the same type of stuff as PvP in the sense of what tames to raise and kill off persay.

The PVE server I’m on is running fairly well, just experiencing the general bugs that everyone is right now. The ping is like a YoYo though, and the rubber banding and world saves freezing everything constantly is just trash but not to the point it’s unplayable

Not trying to compare. Just stating that my PvP server which mainly is consisted of one tribe, have multiple large bases through every cave (excluding swamp and skylord) and a land base and the server is running fine performance wise. And I stated in that messaged idk what difference it is between the PvP and pve cause I’ve never played pve. I know y’all don’t have lines of 100s of breeder racers to mutate for hp like pvp unless I’m wrong there. Correct me if I am. We don’t have any tames that don’t have any correlation with pvp or meta farming tames. I have no disrespect toward pve (not claiming you said I did) just stating the facts I’m pretty sure I know and again correct me if I’m wrong.

We have been capped and I agree in that sense it’s unplayable, however here or there the cap seems to lift and I’ve been able to tame a few things, today I tamed a 150 paracer and yesterday two close to max rexs and in the mean time I’m just building or crafting or grinding for resources while I wait but yes, I’m with you on the tame cap it’s unacceptable and in many cases makes it unplayable
