Warning, if you play on a Non Nitrado server you cannot seee that server anymore unless you click the tab show player servers. Nitrado cant compete with self hosted dedis so they make wildcard beat them into the ground, Nitrado has forced wildcard to show nitrado servers show first when you click on unofficial, and all non nitrado servers are hidden by default and you must click show player servers to see any non nitrado. Nitrado knows they cannot compete with self hosted dedis so in a desperate attempt to bring in money theyve did this.

As far as I'm aware, beating the overseer does not provide the engrams for beating the bosses. It only provides the additional levels and a chibi, in ASA, as far as I'm aware, since skins aren't a thing yet.

Does anyone know if either mods or having console on in the settings prevent you from getting achivment?
I know in the previous ark having the console/cheats enabled didn’t prevent you from getting achivments at all nor did mods

what worked for us. we had the rhynio trapped, popped the pheromone placed it in front of rhynio. broke the trap so it was free. then ran away out of vision / render while rhynio was under 10%. came back and it was impregnated

I installed this mod for my single player for an upgrade station and I won’t lie this is such a cool mod. Should of been a feature in normal ark it’s way better than having to leave it to rng finding drops with blue prints.

Costs ALOT for higher tier upgrades but I’d say that is good as it makes it not overpowered

because thats what happened. I fell off a cliff, the grass was too tall to see the edge and I was running from baddies. then oops. and dead. and was brough to a screen I couldnt escape where I had to recreate my character. it was still looking the same so I went to push create because there was nothing else I could push.
that said it would destroy my old survivor. I decided to Alt F4 to see if I could start on a different screen. log back in and it just brings me back to that screen again. so I said fine, maybe it doesnt mean what I think it does. and nope I was wrong it does mean just that. I lost all dinos and structures.. had to giveallstructures. but still cant build because there is still something I cant find that 'isnt mind'

so ... are we suppose to keep dying, no random respawns and just start over again and again leaving all these unowned bases and animals around the map? just curious. or did I miss something somehwere. like am I suppose to tick off that Id like to be able to respawn.. or something? idk. any tips?

This opens up the game directory on your pc, from there goto to shootergame, then saved, then savedlocalarks
This is where all the map save info is stored ,
you will see TheIsland_wp , probably some other folders that are the unofficial maps
Delete everything inside the Theisland_wp folder , probably just two files

This is how u wud do it in ase if a game save got corrupted , and wud delete just that map data
I cannot guarantee this works in asa , but see no reason it wud not

yeah I dont think the game is currupted though. its just not deleting... so I just deleted everything which worked. Im created another character.. so I know if it were currupted it would probably do the same thing.
though I shouldnt have to do all that... ill write what you said down anyway just incase.. at least until the ark people can figure out a way to make sure we can delete JUST a map at a time and not everything and characters.

Cant find if it's been asked before, but anyone else having issues with breeding/hatch/maturing and harvesting settings on Nitrado servers? We have a server and we had all the settings how we like them, but then Nitrado changed the interface and now you can change the settings on the website and they're copied to the ini files. After they changed this, all the timings on the server are off. Mating interval used to be about 20 minutes (for theris) and egg hatching about 2 minutes. Now theyre 20 hours for mating and over an hour for hatching. We havent changed the settings ourselves.

I don't think WC were big fans of people using OP tames in caves. This will still help with imprinting and hiding dinos. I don't love the 60 no damage timer as sometimes you get arked and tame gets stuck. Will suck to lose them if something starts attacking and you can't get them unstuck or cryo them.

I have made the moral decision to never play on nitrado servers and only on player run servers after the last patch hid player server behind a check mark, also would not of bought the game if I had known that paid dlc would be added for accesses to new dinos.

it's just awful performance. and ray tracing? I think you have the wrong game, it has godrays yes, realtime raytracing? that would give the game -5fps

yeah its broke. and wont really be fixed as its best to rent or host your own dedicated server on pc

Yeah it's even with frame gen off. Looks like the game is trying to use 101% of my GPU so when it gets to a point where the usage goes up to 100% it crashes because it tries to access vram that isn't there. So locking my fps fixes it to a point but the problem is my fps suddenly unlocks on one side of the map...

do you have the game in exclusive full screen and using the ultra preset? cause dont. i found the best way to not crash. is no frame generation, no dlss, high preset, borederless windowed.

Yup I crash using those exact settings. Including menu transitions disabled and tooltip delay disabled

When I turned on frame gen and dlss I didn't crash at all until my fps suddenly unlocked

verify files. and make sure all your windows is up to date and nvidia drivers up to date.
