Further proving my point that you don't understand RP play styles that is a pretty big portion of Ark where the game actually provides a much more indebt thought process of how you progress in the game to provide a longevity of enjoyment in the game besides just taming to fight a boss to unlock engrams and complete ascension requirements.

It different when you have a whole community of people who focus on their strengths of what they are good at rather than looking up how to videos and such to do stuff they don't typically do so everyone is able to interact with each other to provide a sense of global progress for the whole server not just one tribe.

Server wipes are still in ark official, known as ARKPOCOLYPSE or something like that, wipe is next friday. There is 6 servers i believe. its how i prefer to play. They wipe every month for each "world" so right now its every 28 days. but when a 2nd map opens it will be 2 months they eventually get up to 3 months i do believe. i cant be certain though... but they are fun. Also they do special rules and changes each "season"

I have an issue where no matter what I do my ark looks blurry, flying creates almost a ghost of the wings and everything has a grainy vibe to it. I'm at my wits end and noones reporting it. Any thoughts

From a cool suvival channel We used an old pot with a hole drilled in the bottom, filled the pot with birch bark, and placed it above an old soup can that was buried up to about an inch below the rim. A fire was kept burning around the pot for 2 hours and the end result was 50ml of birch oil.

For giga’s specifically it’s for balance. If giga stats remain the same after taming it’s overpowered. So even stat increases are minimal. And you can only get better gigas from breeding stats.

to turn them off. You have to do this every time you start the game, though.

You will run it and you should get it anyway because wildcard will be dropping optimisation patches over the next months so it will get better

I think you said you had a 4060 so you should get around 45 - 55 frames on low intensity areas but some dips down to 30. You could probably even push 65 frames still on high by turning off the volumetric clouds and fog as they both chip 15 frames each. And yes it is worth the price. ASA is wildcards new ark so they pretty much a pushing this forward. Ark2 will most likely be more story driven and not be like the original ark experience we love, so don’t bank on Ark2 being like Ark1. Once all the maps release and it gets optimised it will be a golden gem.

Kind of. It only looks bad if you put the lighting and shadows on Low so keep them on medium. Other than that with everything else on low it looks good. You probably won’t need to run everything on low unless you wanna do hardcore pvp.

I've solved the invalid login problem :

1. Play singleplayer
2. Open command prompt, then type "open (Server ID)". Then Enter
3. You can look for the Server ID on battlematric or from the invalid image info
4. Your game might crash, or getting disconnected from the server again, but the change of getting into the server is really high (it only took me 3 times)

Does anyone know how to fix the bug where the global chat open when the inventory is opened? I cannot use hotkeys to feed narcs when taming and it is extremely infuriating. It randomly goes away but sometimes it just stays forever

@viral shore @tall minnow @heavy cedar this is a long shot but i dont know what else to do. Ive forgotten the password to my ARK community forum account and have tried everything to get it back. When i request a password reset 9/10 times i dont get an email link to reset it, and the 1/10 times i do receive an email, i get an error code saying "You are not awaiting validation for a lost password request".

You never said which i9 you're running so I'm led to believe that there is a possibility in which your cpu is causing a bottleneck. What's your cpu usage while ASA is running?

Turn auto craft off and just use the industrial cooker. Make sure you have a water resource attach to it. Right click and click craft 10 or however many water skins u have in there

Singleplayer, got the id with destorywilddinos then getallstate thylacoleo. i can teleport myself to it with, but teleportcreaturetome does nothing. can't mount it either. playersonly stops his fall, but i still can't interact with it. AwsomeSpyglass mod can't target it either. probably too far below the map

that is weird, none of those things should be impacted by being below the map. sounds like it is not actually at the location it visually appears at. have you reloaded the game?

(tbh nobody knows how awesome spyglass got into ASA, since it is not open source and was not done by the creator.. it may not even be awesome spyglass or work quite right)

the weird behavior of the new ground conform system and physics engine are still being worked out by modders, though. not quite sure why shit floats and sinks yet

do you have DSv2? tried using the soultrap gun on it? or a dino locator mod that will give it's real location?

that is bizarre, that sort of thing almost never happens in ASE, the ground is pretty inviolate and loads before dinos, unlike structures.. what map is it? some of them have weird spots

just about nothing should be able to hide the tooltip, inventory, cryos, and block teleport.. can you see the nametag and does it respond to whistles, at least showing them on the tag, like follow?
