don't think so, you'd have to delete the textures completely which would be a big hassle, and not even sure the game would still work. There is a mod that shows all explorer notes on the map tho, you just enable it by holding R, choose "enable" and it shows u the nearest explorer note

Yes, and some of them are in this chat room lol. But unreal engine 5 is being used for ASA vs unreal engine 4 for ASE..

There's a lot of great additions, like new AI Dino pathfinding, the build system has been revamped, user interface has been updated. There are a lot of new conveniences, generators are all wireless, water intake and water taps are all wireless (pipeless), extremely far base render distance so things don't just pop in anymore, etc.. for $40, you get every story map and every currently released DLC.. I think it's a great value, and it adds longevity to the game for years to come.

I would advise playing on a dedicated server, it's trivial enough for anyone in your group to host it without paying a hosting company.

Yes I have, many hours, I can say from personal experience that the 10 raptors I had following me around on a parasaur all over the mountains followed me flawlessly. I stopped every 5 or 10 minutes and counted Chevron to make sure that none of them were missing.. but I admit I haven't had anything else but raptors following me.

I will say this is my standard play style and I always had issues in ASE with raptors getting stuck behind rocks and trees. Maybe I'm just lucky, but you can literally see them slow down and walk around trees and rocks unlike ASE

In mutations, how come people breed Health lines separate from Damage lines? Can't I just breed both Health & Damage at the same time? I don't understand how it would be slower. Could someone help me understand?

Max mutations on one side of a family tree is 20, so you breed separate lines to keep from hitting that cap and slowing it down faster

In order to go above 20 mutations you have to keep stacking on one side (it's suggested to be the male side as they can breed with many females and you get mutations faster) and after 20 you cut the speed you get mutations to 50%

Mutation types are not independent, 1 health mutation and 1 melee is still 2 total mutations. Open your dino and look at 'show ancestry' it will show the total number of mutations from each parent

Speed is gone from vanilla but not removed from the spyglass UI likely cause you can reenable it if you want. Torpor isnt stat you can level it's based on the dinos info

So after some testing, it looks like the torpor rate (+narcotics numbers) don't line up with what's in the dev kit. I just slightly boosted Dododex's torpor rate of the beaver to match the in-game numbers, but it's a very small bump. The 12 narcs you were seeing will now be 14. Still not sure why yours was so high though.

I was just typing level/tame/drain numbers in and pressing go, and the site wasn't lining up with my game (i was playing medium difficulty, asa) ... Meaning, on my server, yes nitrado sadly, GameUserSettings.ini gets rewritten with some random configs and sometimes it brakes our settings - is there a way to prevent this from happening ?!?

if you look through your saves folder you should see several backup files. Copy one of them over the last save. You will lose some progress as you are effectively doing a rollback, but maybe not much is lost.
